hi SlowDragon, Thanks for replying. I did the Advanced fingerprick test so I could check vitamins.
Im taking the liquid Levo all in one dose in the morning as I wanted to compare results with same actions I’ve been doing. I will do a thyroid only profile soon and compare - then I plan to split the dose. I actually did this test in 5 December but haven’t had the motivation to post it on here (or do other paperwork).
I still feel lethargic, struggle from about 4pm to stay awake, breathless on walks, tinnitus, dizziness if I bend down, low in mood and cold to the bone as the saying goes. I now also have reynauds.
The differences I’ve noticed since on the liquid Levo is I now sleep longer , the waking at 3 or 4 am and not being able to get back to sleep has changed and I sometimes wake at 6 which, although early, is such a relief. I’m not 100% sure it’s from changing to liquid (and it’s lactose free now) but it’s such a change after years of being up at 4 am and started soon after changing to liquid.
The other benefit I’ve found with the liquid is freedom from feeling like the Levo tablet is stuck in my throat. I have that with all tablets unless I eat something after taking them but of course I couldn’t with Levo. I’ve had this checked and doc told me our muscles in throat area get weaker as we age and this can be a common thing. The fact that I swallow food ok is what they’re going on.
I’m still waiting to have a stress echo which will complete heart checks (all others fine). If ok the nhs will re prescribe T3.
Do you think my ferritin and vitamin D levels could be higher?

OK, so leaving aside your thyroid results then
CRP: 2.21 (<3)
This is in range but near the top. As this is an inflammation marker then the lower the result the better. As it is close to the top of the range I would suspect some possible inflammation but this is a non-specific inflammation marker so can't tell you where the inflammation might be. I have lung disease and my CRP is never low, usually higher than your level. I see your Tg antibodies are close to top of range and they have been well over range previously which suggests Hashimoto's but you already know this.
Ferritin: 114 (30 -650)
This can be falsely raised when inflammation is present so it's difficult to know what your true ferritin level is. I don't take much notice of INUVI's ferritin range (this is the range for over 60s of either sex) which doesn't make alot of sense to me. Why would they have such a wide range when Eurofins County Pathology use the range 13-150 and many GPs use a similar range or maybe 15-300?
Folate serum: 41.6 (8.83-60.8)
This is a good result.
B12: 150 (37.5-188)
This is a good result.
Vit D: 113 (50-250)
The Vit D Council, Vit D Society and Grassroots Health all recommend a level of 100-150nmol/L with Grassroots Health's recent blog post recommending at least 125nmol/L. Yours isn't too bad and if you feel OK with this level then it's probably right for you.
That’s interesting to know about the CRP /ferritin. Actually, I remember now that my CRP has been raised each time I test. I’ve had issues with lungs 3 years ago and used inhalers at the time. It’s eased now but still an issue on brisk walking but I’m not on the inhalers as trying to eliminate reasons for it first. I have a feeling it’s my lungs still so that’s next to investigate. I wondered if the breathlessness was anaemia or my thyroid not in range. Doesn’t look like I’m anaemic. Will keep working at the thyroid levels, go for the Stress Echo test, then hopefully go back on some t3….. see what happens with breathlessness then.
I forgot to add K2 into the list of vitamins I take - well spotted! I have the Vegavero 200 mcg and take 1 every other day. I can never see the 100mcg for sale on Amazon. Does my dose seem ok?
I’ve been taking Doctor’s Best vitamin D which you mentioned - it’s good that it’s got the extra virgin olive oil.
High thyroid antibodies- yes now aware I have Hashimoto’s - only learnt this from the help on here.
Thanks for going through my posts. I hope you are well.
I remember you said you did that , I then did the same. I use the other vitamins you mentioned to me when I joined here and my levels have been good since then. I’m into a nice routine now 🙏🏽
