Advice on vitamins timing

Hello👋

I would love to get advice on my vitamin regimen. It looks like this currently:

8 am Armour thyroid and big glass of water :)

9 am teaspoon of liquid omega 3 by Now and vit C by California Gold Nutrition 1g

10-11 am sachet of powdered collagen 5g

1 pm Floravital liquid iron 20ml or 40 ml near period

5 pm b12 1g methylocobalamin sublingual Solgar after a snack

Before sleep - 8000 units vit D in oil + reishi/cordyceps extract

Any thoughts on above? I take most of my vits in a liquid or sublingual form, because then I have the best results.

I got today a bottle of magnesium liquid by Now, but not sure when to squeeze it in?

Thank you in advance! 🤗

Best to leave two hours after taking thyroid hormone to take any supplements, so why not take your Omega 3 and collegen at the same time, at 10-11 am?

Vit C should be taken at the same time as the iron, to aid absorption.

You could take your magnesium at the same time as the vit D, before bed, as it's said to make you sleepy (doesn't make me sleepy! lol). Are you also taking vit K2-MK7 with your vit D?

Yes, I’ve been doubling up on some supplements, that can obviously be taken together. Good idea for others too.

Thanks greygoose, sounds good, I have taken my collagen with omega 2 hours after meds today.

I will take vit D together with magnesium. I wasn't sure of any interactions.

I can't take K2-MK7 with my vit D sadly, I used to, then I had blood tests done for clotting (INR etc.) and they were abnormal due to K2, stopped it and the issue went away.

Would you recommend any other vitamins in general?

That's strange. It's K1 that is the vitamin for blood clotting. K2 doesn't usually affect it, I don't think. As the K2 is necessary for getting calcium into the teeth and bones - taking vit D increases absorption from food - it would be a good idea to keep a close eye on your calcium levels in the blood, then. You don't want it building up in the blood.

How is your iron/ferritin? Have you had that tested? Testing zinc and copper is always a good idea. Hypos are usually low in one and high in the other, which can make you feel bad.

I wonder if issues with clotting were related to being simply more underactive than I am now? It could be the case? I will check calcium as I haven't checked it in a long time now.

Tested for the whole iron panel, iron did rise to roughly 3/4 of range, ferritin as well, to mid-range, I had it at the bottom of range recently, because I changed my iron supplement. Now good again.

Tested zinc only once in my life, never tested copper. I wonder if I can get them done in my lab or wait until I go back home. I think they tend to be quite expensive to be done here.

Thank you for your help and all these suggestions!😊

As the wise grey goose says most important is the armour away from everything else i'd put it with the magnesium as well
