Armour Thyroid

I take 1.5 grains of armour thyroid and 15 mcg of Liothyronine daily. I feel great BUT my results don’t reflect that. I’m not sure how to go about obtaining optimal levels. Advice please. I am very nutrition conscious and take supplements as follows.

I take 60mg (1 grain) of Armour Thyroid at 8am with either 37.5 or 50mg of Levo. I take 50mcg Levo 3 days a week. I take a further 60mg of Armour Thyroid at 5pm. I want to do a blood test that will show me (not a doctor) what my common levels are during the day.

Hi lovely people, I have been prescribed Armour Thyroid by private prescription and have been directed to split the dose during the day. My question is, how do I physically split the 1/2 grain tablet without it turning to dust?

Hello, about to start on Thybon + levo having no benefits from levo alone or armour thyroid. Wondering about weight gain/loss and side effects of Thybon?

I take my Armour thyroid at night: 180 mg every other night and 135 mg on the other nights. I've got a blood test first thing Wednesday morning. Should I just skip the Tuesday night dose, or do you recommend something else? Tuesday would be a 135 mg dose for me. Thanks!

Before that I was on 4 grains of armour thyroid + 25mcg tiromel daily. My t3 is in towards the bottom of the range and was in the bottom before changing also.

for people on armour thyroid..how often do you take it-once or twice a day and if twice what time do you take the second dose? ☺️

Good morning I have recently changed to Armour Thyroid. Latest results. TSH 9.42 Free T3 is 4.3 Free T4 is 6 It’s a few weeks before I can see doctor. I would be grateful for suggestions, questions I should ask, changes I should consider. Thank you Kind regards Bev

I have been on Armour Thyroid successfully for over 10 years now, so I don’t want to and have no reason, to come off it. However I am about to move house from living in Essex for many years to settle near my family in the Wirral.

Right now, I’m on 75 mcg of Levothyroxine, but she’s switching me to Armour Thyroid and increasing the T4 component slightly. 60mcg is the dose. We’ll check my labs again in 8 weeks. She said I shouldn’t notice any side effects, but I wanted to check in here—has anyone switched to Armour?

Hi,I have taken Armour Thyroid for 12 years as I was unwell on levo following thyroidectomy. I am seeing a new endo as have calcium problems which he thinks caused the difficulties post op & wants me to try Levo again. I am not opposed to this so tried in June & was dispensed Mercury Pharma.

Does anyone have information on the effectiveness of Armour thyroid after its expiry date? (Which I believe might be one year.) I live in Portugal, where NDT is not available, so I've been using pills I bought over a year ago and I'm curious if there is a reduction in efficacy.

I’m currently using armour thyroid at 2 grains and feel bloody awful. Same old same old symptoms I get when I try to increase Levo or Levo/t3. My adrenals suffer. I know it’s adrenals because I’ve been doing this for almost 5 years now.
