Hello lovely people! I was just wondering if my timeline for taking my meds/ supplements is ok:
7:00am Levothyroxine
8:30 am fruit breakfast and hydrolysed beef protein powder taken with some water.
12:30pm salad with some protein
7:00pm veggies and protein with Vit C and some fats
8:00pm fruit snack with Vit C and some fats if not had at dinner.
10:00pm combination pill
When I have the Vit C and fat I supplement. I aim for 11g of fat as I read this is the optimum amount to help you absorb Vit D supplement. I take Vit C to help the iron absorb.
I take:
Metabolics B complex liquid
Solgar Vitamin D3 1,000 IU
Solgar Gentle Iron 20mg
Spatone iron rich water 20ml sachet
I’m going to add more in but doing it in 2 week intervals (K2 100ug and magnesium malate 200mg)
I’m just wondering if taking them all at the same time is a good or bad idea? Could one effect the absorption of the other? I could take iron at lunch with Vit C and others with fat at dinner if that would be better for instance?

Oh sorry! So I mean I eat something with Vitamin C in it like oranges, to help the iron supplement to absorb. So I have all the supplements at the same time either with dinner or snack, whatever I have consumed fat and Vit C from food in.
Ahhh okay so best to eat something with Vit C at lunch and take my iron then. Which will be 4 hours from levo and 4 hours from dinner when I’d take my other supplements, ensuring I consume fat to help the Vit D absorb. Thank you!
Call me nitpicking, but I really don't think an orange is going to give you enough vit C to help absorb the iron. That may be all very well if you're talking about absorbing iron from food, but an iron supplement, as it contains a lot more iron than the average meal, needs more vit C. I take 1000 mg with my iron.
