Yes Brett is genuine.
YorkshireLass - good instinct asking !
That email looks so spammy! I wouldnt have even asked, I just wouldnāt have clicked it.
Itās written like one of those my IT team at work sends out to test us that we arenāt clicking suspicious linksš¤£
Why would there be a forced password update anyway?
Hi FallingInReverse, I've not clicked the link, glad I asked the question though š¤£
Yesā¦ but Milkyway below did and likely others ā¦ Iām glad you asked too.
My job does this all the time. Sends out emails like this to see who clicks them. Itās like a game - thereās always a tell!
This one has tons of legit aspectsā¦ the personalization in the greeting makes me think itās real. But the threat of losing the account after a certain date and the informality of the ādonāt worryā language makes me suspect. Also thereās no footer as required with other business emails. Also if what Milkyway says is true then Iād say it def fake!
Iām looking forward to seeing the verdict!
Brett is genuine. But that doesn't mean the email is. It's not normal to have to update your password.
I followed his link š³but have now reset password again through the site to another one.
That doesnāt really make sense.
Whenever you get an email like that you shouldnāt click the link in it.
Just go to the website directly and find the reset password option directly.
If you entered a password combo that you use on other sites - consider changing those too. It might be fine but itās highly unlikely - if not impossible- healthunlocked would send you to another site.
If youāre on a laptop, run a virus scan.
I think I misread your message. Did the link take you to the Healthunlocked site?
Donāt click again obv if you donāt remember ā¦ but curious if it did indeed take you to the real site.
Hi, I didn't click the reset password link (to scared to š], but I did click on the support link which took me to the screenshot I sent to RedApple below.
Admins - itās worth flagging this to āBrettā
If thereās a phishing scheme- Healthlocked might want to post a warning not to click links, or whatever the case may be.
The email is pretty good, but slightly off, there are some tells.
If this is genuineā¦ Iād be surprised. But who knows.
The blue text at the bottom that says 'our support team is ready to help you', looks like a link. Are you able to see where it links to Without Clicking On It?
After reading the above - Iām going to guess this is genuine.
So now Iād love to know why some people had to force a password reset or else lose access!
Hi all, very sorry for the late reply! I can confirm this is a genuine HealthUnlocked email sent by me. It won't be all of you who receive it so please don't be alarmed if you haven't. We are just asking some members to reset. Any other questions, please send me a message. Have a great weekend!
Just so those that have reponded can see the reply from Brett I will tag you.
