N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC)
I’ve been reading an article by Dr. Izabella Wentz talking about NAC was wondering if anyone had tried this supplement? She claims it’s the one supplement she couldn’t be without.

any tips/advice
I have recently started taking some supplements like lions mane, vitamin d, a B complex, ashwagandha and N-acetyl
cysteine
. I’m gluten and dairy free and a vegetarian. I think Im relatively fit but probably could do with losing a round 6/7 lbs.

ANKER And acetyl
cysteine
. I like coq10 and PQQ They’re kind of like the spark plugs of mitochondria, and they have been shown to increase energy levels. They work very, very well together. Usually 200 milligrams of coke, you ten with 20 milligrams of p q.

FDA Bans NMN as a Dietary Supplement: Why and What Happened?, By Kimberly Drake, Healthnews, Published on February 13, 2024
These actions by the FDA are similar to ones taken against NAC (N-acetyl
cysteine
) and Red Yeast Rice products. For those unfamiliar with the confounding issue related to NAC, it is outlined in the NutraIngredients-USA article linked above.

Invitro study. Our novel findings indicate that safe doses of may be used to decrease AR expression and metastatic ability in CRPC cells
Although DMSO exposure showed a dose- and time-dependent effect on reactive oxygen species (ROS) production by PC cells, the AR-suppressive effect of DMSO was not altered by the antioxidant n-acetyl
cysteine
(NAC).
