So after a long journey not managing the brands of t3 I am waiting for my nhs script to come in for Thybon 20 Henning. I’ve thought that battle.
I’ve been taking 175mcg Levo Teva for 2 months now as it’s taking ages to get the script. I’ve my current bloods taken and I’d appreciate what dose people would recommend I take of the t3 and if to keep my 175mcg of Levo.
Now I’ve only managed up to 5mcg of t3 as it’s like rocket fuel to me, it made me spaced out, but high and also sick on and off, assumed it’s the fillers, hence waiting for another brand.
So at the minute I’m 37, having Anxiety attacks at night, night sweats and not feeling myself.
I requested a cortisol, short synachen test, it was started at 10am.
536 nmo/l
30 mins after 789
60mins after 826
Serum folate 9.1 (3.4-15.8)
Ferritin 59 (22-322)
B12 663 (221-912)
Iron 11 (9-30)
Transferrin 2.60 (2.0-3.2)
TIBC 65 (45-81)
TSH 1.36 (0.38-5.50)
T3 4.9 (3.5-6.5)
T4 16.2 (10.0-18.7)
Also any advise on Activis Levo as I’m not coping on Teva as constantly feeling sick. But I can’t have dairy really but wonder if it’s better side effects than I’m having.
I know my iron is low it was 8, 2 months ago.
Any help, guidance would be appreciated as I’m fed up of all the hormones, feel menopausal at 37. I’ve seen a gp but not much help.
I take lots of vits, iron, selenium, b12, b complex, magnesium, zinc, vit d/k2, quercetin and recently Q10.
I’ve a new complex containing black cohosh, red clover, sage, Angus castus. Is this safe with Levo etc? It’s for menopausal and pms symptoms. For my night sweats.

I'm only replying 're the teva and activis, as no expert. The first levo I had was 50 of teva and the side effects were awful. I then found out others had problems and why, and filled in the yellow card form.
I'm also dairy intolerant but took the activis and not as bad as teva. However I did get the lactose/dairy intolerant symptoms.
Thank you for your response. It’s difficult to know what will happen, but the mannitol filler in the Teva I think is the cause of my headaches and sickness. I wish like the french we could get Teva to remove it.
I used to have Teva years ago and great and they had to change things, the oral solution caused my tummy to burn and levels not consistent at all.
I found a Levo brand in America, 3 fillers, water, talc and glycerin, I wish. The uk use so much lactose as fillers in tablets it’s difficult with many drugs.
Yes the mannitol with me too. I tried the lactose free liquid but the glycerol in it was as bad as mannitol. It really is ridiculous using lactose for so many meds when it's such a common intolerance
