Free T4 18.9pmo/L Ref range (12 - 22)

FreeT3 4.5 pmo/L Ref range (3.1 - 6.8)

Ferritin level 158 ug/L (13.0 -150.0)

Folate level (42U5) 9.2 ug/L (3.7- 18.7)

B12 level (XE2pf) 1460ng/L (191.0 -633.0)

Not supplemeting any B vits

Total 25-hydroxy Vitamin D 81.2nmol/L no range just (<60.0)

I think the range was 50- 150 my result was originally 60 have been supplemeting with1000MG vitamin D3 since last test but have only in last 3 days added vitamin k2 100ug since seeing this advised on forum

I need to give explanation of chart below but don't have paper copy to refer to and can't see the jpeg which a freind helped convert from pdf so to sumarise

Starts as i had heart attack was on

T4 75 T3 20

Same dose after stenting, results rise left on same dose for about 4 months then taken off T3 in increments of 5mg till I arrive with test result Tsh 7.5 at that point raised to 100 thyroxine There I stay untill you see a t3 appear. First one is still on 100 thyroxine second one is with. T3 6.5 added. I did this as my legs went from under me breathing difficulties and chest tightening an angiogram revealed no change since stenting and an endo appt was unhelpful . I added T3 in desperation as nothing else care wise was being done. 4 months later there was some improvement and I got back to walking again and probably regained 80% of my life again until Jan 2017

where I woke up and had this awful internal shaking, worse when I sat down and just paced for hours and could not sleep.

Lab would only do T3 if I stopped it for 10 days and my T4 was lowered to 90 as my gp was away and they didn't know what to do with me. My T4 was lowered to 75 and there I was left. I haven't been able to walk for 10 months now I raised my dose to 87.5 in November last year and my T3 still is 6 .5 my latest tests were done fasting.

Im sorry this is so long I think I will try and make my first post into my bio so posts aren't so long and I do apologise for my explanation of jpeg image just not really clued into using a smartphone and was afraid I'd lose the image if I started tapping around.

I'm so glad to finally be on this forum I needed to be here a year ago .

The fact you are NOT supplementing any B vitamins yet your B12 is very high needs investigation

Are you definitely not taking any multivitamins or been on Vitamin B complex in last 4-6 months?

If so suggest you get full B vitamin evaluation

Your FT3 is still quite low. Have you considered trying to increase slightly

Internal tremors are often mentioned with thyroid problems

Hi SlowDragon

I have definately not been taking any Bs the tests you have mentioned are the ones that the consultant refused to look at that I had done privately. It was suggested that I was referred to a heamatologist but that has been refused too. I have these tests ready to share but can't see how to attach them to your reply am I missing something ? In some tests that I had done with my gp a few weeks ago they refused iron panel saying ferritin was enough this has come back over the ref range and homocysteine was refused too. Thankyou for your reply Slow Dragon.

You can't add images to reply, only to a post

So you either need to type out of put new post up,

Not surprised NHS refused, very unlikely to test homocysteine. You would need to get private testing

Gosh I was editing my reply and you have responded so quickly took me by surprise. I ts alot to type so I think I will make new post should I title it something like private tests done 10 months ago in response to SlowDragon. Sorry just have never been on a forum before.

Eating liver once a week should help improve

Ari3 profile image
Ari3 in reply toSlowDragon

How long it takes for it to improve ? Roughly

If I drink two sachets of liquid iron with apple added vit c would it also help to raise ferritin and not only iron ? Of course also eating liver

Yes iam slowddragon but iam treating my adrenals at the minute because I couldn’t raise any sort of medication for thyroid ( I felt dizzy faint and just not good at all diahrea stomach pain even on low doses) so after 8 months of battling different types of hormone medication I gave up and saw Dr P and he put me on a Adrenavive II to heal my adrenals first as they need to be bang on in order for thyroid med to work.Accordingly to cortisol test it says normal but nearly all of them are on a very low side and on afternoon it was on borderline. So it shows I need some help there.iam now on 1/2 grain NTD and have started with 1/4 capsule of Adrenavive .

I have been eating liver once a week Ari3. Within a few months but my latest test came back over range. But I have some other issues with high levels at present so not sure what is going on with me . I went from 70 to 153 in 3 months!

Have you tried to check ur adrenals ? Maybe u should book an appoitment to see Dr P I saw him and I couldn’t get my medications right at all couldn’t up the dose tiny bit made me sick I had loads adverse reactions and don’t feel right at all.Adrenals are so important to keep them alright in order for thyroid medication to process properly otherwise u will have all sorts of negative feelings like rt3 and so on .Of course vitamins must be on top.I been 8 months not feeling right still struggling so badly but trying to get my adrenals right first before anything else .I keep supplementing with vitamins of course .i have Hashimotos too have u got it ?

Farscape in reply toAri3

Yes Hashimotos Ari3 I had an adtenal profile done last year but my pc broke and could not get on this forum to share it. if you read my first post you can see my story. I should have made it my bio I'm new to smartphone and finding it a little difficult. I saw Dr P many years ago he knew there was something else going on with me but couldnt quite figure it out. I had underlying heart problems.
