Hi Everyone,

Congratulations, Rhsana!

Sorry the pregnancy and delivery were difficult.

You're undermedicated. TSH is high and FT3 low in range. Most people on T3 only need FT3 5 - 6.8 to feel well. I would add another 6.25mcg T3 and retest in 6-8 weeks.

B12 is fine but folate is low. You can raise folate by eating leafy green veg and supplementing 400mcg folate or methylfolate for 2-3 months.

VitD is optimal 100 - 150. I would supplement 5,000iu D3 for 6 weeks and then reduce to 5,000iu alternate days and retest in March.

Ferritin >70 is good for hair regrowth and ferritin is optimal around halfway through range. You can raise ferritin by supplementing iron with 1,000mg vitamin C to aid absorption and minimise constipation.

Take vitD and iron 4 hours away from T3.

The rest of your complete blood count is within range.

Rhsana I'm sorry you had difficult pregancy and emergency C section but I'm glad that you and your daughter are o.k. I was a little bit concerned as you vanished from the HU forum...I hope an increase in T3 suggested by Clutter will be helpful and you will start gaining your strength (you will need it with a newborn to look after ;) Take care xxx

Hello Rhsana, I know this is a very old post, but I was just wondering what your overall experience was of being pregnant with hashis? I know you have advised it was difficult, I was just wondering why you needed a c-section (if you're willing to share), and also how your daughter is doing now?
