Serum free T3 level 4.4 pmol/L (3.50 - 6.50pmol/L)
At a suggestion from this forum, I asked for my Vit D, B12, Ferritin and folate levels to be tested. The GP got a whole lot of tests done but missed out the Vit D so I have had that tested privately. The results are:
When I was on 100mcg of thyroxine a year or two ago my levels were:
Free T3 4.9 pmol/L (3.5-6.5)
Free T4 20.6 pmol/L (9-24)
TSH 0.06 mu/L (0.35-5.0)
My dosage of thyroxine was reduced to 75mcg because of the low TSH reading.
On the advice of the very knowledgeable people here, I have bought selenium, B12 and a B complex and have been taking these. My symptoms of fatigue and tiring easily have remained unchanged as yet.
Now I have the Vit D results, I'd be grateful for advice as to what to do next. Should I speak to my GP or should I just buy some Vit D?

VitD is very low. If you ask your GP to prescribe make sure you aren't given a prescription for 800iu D3 which is a maintenance dose to take once level is replete >75. GP should refer to local guidelines or the NICE CKS recommendations for treating vitamin D deficient adults cks.nice.org.uk/vitamin-d-d...
Alternatively you can buy high dose vitamin D3 without prescription from Amazon. I suggest you supplement 2 x 5,000iu D3 daily x 8 weeks to boost levels and then reduce to 1 x 5,000iu daily and retest in March.
Thanks very much for your very informative reply Clutter. I must admit I was surprised that my Vit D is low - in fact I was surprised that my B12 was a bit low too. I don't know why but I assumed all would be fine! So - I think I'll buy the Vit D myself. I'm just wondering if I should ask if my GP would consider putting me back on 100mcg of thyroxine daily as it did help my Free T3 levels somewhat?
Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email dionne.fulcher@thyroiduk.org if you would like a copy of the Pulse article to show your GP when you ask for a dose increase.
Many thanks again Clutter. I'm taking the B12 on the advice of SeasideSusie who said she feels that the levels should be nearer the top of the range and I'll continue with it, at least for the time being. I don't think I have specific Vit B12 deficiency symptoms except for forgetfulness, memory loss (not severe), sleep disturbances, postural hypotension and fatigue but presumably these problems could be caused by many other issues including hypothyroidism? I suppose the symptom which bothers me most is my lack of stamina. As I said in a previous post, my friend of the same age and I have been trying to get fit since April by taking up mountain biking. She has progressed steadily and now can tackle moderate hills without difficulty whereas I still struggle hugely, panting and out of breath and with my muscles becoming exhausted. Very frustrating! Anyway, very many thanks for the links Clutter.
