Atala,

TSH is low-normal and FT4 and FT3 are less than mid way through their respective ranges. If you feel well you are optimally medicated. If not, there is scope for a dose increase to raise FT4 and FT3.

The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 1.0 or lower with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Thyroid peroxidase and thyroglobulin antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

B12 <500 can be deficient. If you have symptoms of B12 deficiency b12deficiency.info/signs-an... pop over to healthunlocked.com/pasoc for advice.

Increased folate may be seen with pernicious anaemia, vegetarian diets, or with a condition called bacterial overgrowth syndrome where bacteria multiply in the upper bowels. labtestsonline.org.uk/under...

CRP is an inflammation marker so a low result is good.

Ferritin is optimal halfway through range. If you are supplementing iron this raises ferritin.
