Also should I still take a multi vit?

Multi-vits are a waste of money. There's not enough of anything in them to treat a real deficiency. There are things in them you Don't want, like iodine and calcium. And everything is lumped in together, when in reality, some things should be taken away from other. You won't get much out of a multi-vit.

I take my iron first thing in the morning. My magnesium and zinc at lunch time - I take magnesium malate, which needs to be taken with food, and doesn't have to be taken at bedtime. I take all my vits after dinner, and my T3 with vit C at night. It's difficult to leave enough time between things, but that's the best I can come up with.

Hi misslissa  , I take my levo about 6/6.30. Then a few hours later I take my B vits ( B complex, B12 ) then later, at least 4 hours after levo I take my Iron and Vitamin C together ( as Iron needs Vit C for absorption ). Vitamin D3 and Omega 3 are fat soluble so I take just before I eat my tea, Magnesium I take later as it can help with sleep. Not sure about Selenium as I usually just munch on a few brazils in the day for that but I don't think minerals should be taken together. Hope that helps a bit :)  P.s also remember to keep levo in the fridge

Neither did I until the other day. Someone posted the patient information leaflet on here

If you live in Australia, yes! But the sort of weather you get in the UK, there's really no need. In fact, I think it might be too cold for Levo in the fridge.

And, it dépends how your levo - or whatever - is packed. If it is in blister packs, each tablet separate, that's ok. But, if you have a pot of pills, taking it out, opening it, taking out a tablet, closing it and putting it back in the fridge will allow moisture to get in there, and then your Levo will be no good. It needs to be kept dry.

When you take vitamins and minerals partly depends on your diet.

Vitamin D needs to be taken with a fatty meal which is lunch or dinner for most people but is alsoknown to disturb some people's sleep if taken late in the day.

Iron gives some people an upset stomach but can't be taken with tannins e.g. tea, coffee,  calcium  e.g. milk, cheese, milk substitutes  and zinc.

So for some people it's better to take iron in the evening and vitamin D in the afternoon.

In short experiment to see what makes you feel OK.

Also there is no need to take a multivitamin and it's better to eat the fish than the oils. There are arguments  that the supplements don't work.

Iron can't be taken with magnesium, either.

There is a very good book called the  nutrient miracle which tell you about all the vitamins  and which to take with which. The book all tells you which micro nutrients you are likely to be deficient in  according to you health problems and medications.

Thanks for all the advice, I kind of feel I've bought too many but you get one and then it's suggested you should take others to help the one you bought! Becomes full on. I've now read I should take k2 with my Vit D, is that a must??

My omega 3 is in olive oil so does that mean I don't worry about eating with fatty meal? That's what I'd assumed.

Apparently k2 is quite important as it redirects the calcium to the right places and can cause problems if D3 is left to do it's own thing. k2 helps to prevent calcium building up in the arteries. I think this is a fairly recent discovery, I haven't even got any myself yet, but haven't took much D3 since the suns been out. Omega 3 I don't know.
