Mouth/throat problems.
Along with it, I've been having lots of mucus (clear/white) in my throat, along with a constant stuffy nose, which won't go away even after my GP prescribed
Zyrtec
. She even told me to double my dosage daily. The tightness is in the back of my tongue and throat.

I take Atarax before bed, or
Zyrtec
and Zantac if it is not too bad and am going for UV (sun bed) treatments, 15mins a week for 10 sessions.

Anti histamines cause water retention?
I have been on zirtek and before that triludan for 30 years for itchy skin. I thought anti histamines cause swelling and worsen itching but every Doctor I ask disagrees. I am particularly worried because the Doctor wants to treat my condition with amtriptyline but there are contraindications.

son with asthma and pos ANA test
Zyrtec
seemed to only take edge off and the last time we had to use that with benadryl and it did nothing besides make him more tired. They ran all of these allergic tests like 80 things 18 months ago and nothing came up.

Anti-Allergy tablets
Hey all, Looking for advice on if there are any safe anti-allergy tablets I can take during both my 2ww and potential pregnancy? I get very occasional dust/mould spore allergic reactions which give me hideous breathing/wheezing issues. The only thing which clears it is an anti-histamine

Zyrtec
x1 PRN - Proair Albuterol inhaler x2 puffs PRN I asked my PCP if I have asthma

Hives? Cellulitis?
I sent a photo to my primary care doc, she said it looked like hives and told me to take
Zyrtec
and Zantac and to monitor them. After some online searching, chronic hives seems to be a symptom of some people with auto immune disorders. Has anyone on here experienced this?

POST NASAL DRIP - what is it ?
The newer generation of antihistamines, including loratadine (Claritin, Alavert), fexofenadine (Allegra), certirizine (
Zyrtec
), levocetirizine (Xyzal), and desloratadine (Clarinex), may be better options, and are less likely to cause drowsiness.
