Sorry no link, it's from an ad site, but still a good read: Improving Thyroid Hormone Conversion
Furthermore, it is interesting to note that researchers have found that the nutritional
zinc
status in obese and diabetic subjects is altered: low
zinc
concentrations in plasma and erythrocytes with high urinary

Leek nutrition, & high folate, vitamin K1, potassium, iron, prebiotic, high fibre, yummy & easy: LEEK, CAVOLO NERO, & POTATO SOUP
I added nutritional yeast for extra B vitamins &
zinc
, so this lunch alone provides me with more than adequate folate intake. Also good served with fresh parsley on top for vitamin C as this vitamin is destroyed by cooking. Vitamin C is helpful for absorbing the iron content in the greens.

Ritalin not performing?
Not sure whether to ride the storm until I see my psych (in May) or go down the no meds path and stick with supplements such as magnesium,
zinc
etc...or whether in fact I've just started on a medication that doesn't agree with me? Any feedback would be great. Thanks for reading.

Iron levels vs ferritin levels
All my vitamens seem normal and take additional
zinc
and Iron. Last vitamin labs on 12/19/18 B12 661 (239-931) Folic acid 20 (7-30)
Zinc
72 (60-120) D3 was mid range Any ideas of suggestions as to how to get my ferritin levels high without the iron and iron satuation way over?

child has ADHD,trying to find right meds...
I know there’s no one cure, just wondering what works best for your kids.. she also takes supplements, calcium,
zinc
, magnesium, omegas 3/6 ,multi vitamin, and melatonin for sleep . I’ve tried essential oils too. I’ve read of maybe taking guanfacine and methylphenidate but is that too much?

sharing a small positive
All I've done is add in magnesium glycinate,
zinc
and selenium. My diet is fairly clean anyway as I have coeliac disease and am lactose intolerant; so I avoid A1 dairy and gluten as standard. I had my usual GI upset/IBS flare ups but I think that may have been due to mefenamic acid.

zinc
and B6. And is treated by diet? and supplements. That's all I know. Thanks. irina1975

Oats: Nutrition Facts
Lastly, oats are a good source of protein, iron, magnesium,
zinc
, and selenium. For a dish that you usually enjoy in the morning, that's a pretty impressive way to start your day. Common Questions About Oats How does the calorie and carbohydrate content of oats change from dry to wet?

Should I trial levothyroxine/NDT? (Years of odd results but new to this!)
Over the past couple of years the symptoms have worsened and new ones have emerged, including dry/brittle hair, hair loss, skin problems (acne, which has improved with
zinc
/diet changes, and itching/dry skin on legs), some irregularity in periods/heavier periods, and loss of libido.
