Hello every one! Kindly help me to interpret my lab results, here it is:
TSH - 0.010 (0.27- 4.20 uIU/mL)
FT3 - 2.91 (2.80 - 7.10 pmol/L)
FT4 - 9.386 (12.0 - 22.0 pmol/L)
Im on levothyroxine since the time I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid, until only after I happen to find someone in our area that sells and uses NDT that I start using it too, that was on October 2017. Now Im taking 120mg of it. My symptoms are as follows:
mild anxiety, panic attacks, weight gain, mood swings, suicidal thoughts (on and off), dry hair, frozen shoulder, hard to swallow and phelgm esp in the morning.
The supplements I take are as follows:
magnesium (2x a day), zinc picolinate, fish oil, sodium ascorbate (vit c), vit d, vit b complex. Please help me to interpet my lab results. Thank you in advance!

TSH is suppressed, FT4 below range which isn't uncommon when taking NDT and FT3 is low in range. Most people taking NDT need FT3 in the upper range 5.6 - 7.10 to feel well.
How much Levothyroxine were you taking before switching to NDT?
Do you take supplements 2 hours away from NDT (4 hours for magnesium and vitamin D)?
hi! Im taking 100mcg of levothyroxine before I switched to NDT, I take supplements 4 hours after my NDT. I started half grain of NDT on Oct 2017, I increase it after 2 weeks to 1 grain, that’s how I increase my dosage. Should I increase my NDT to 3 grains (which is equivalent to 180mg)?
Not saying this applies to you but it's food for thought. I wason Levo 100/125 and went back to taking NDT. My next Endo appointment I was taking 3 grains, feeling much better but still not the finished article. Not sure now whether I had any blood results but he dropped me back to 1.75 grains which worried me but that was spot on. So I can't help but thing you may be over medicated. If you drop down a quarter and see how you go and hold for several weeks then if you feel better then good and may be try dropping down another quarterxand so on. If your first quarter drop you feel a lot worse then it doesn't look as though you are taking too much but if you don't feel any difference then drop down again.
3 years later I'm on 2 grains but have had to take medication that lowers the absorption of my thyroid meds and I feel good still. More doesn't always mean you will feel better.
