Painful feet with Lupus?
Hello lovely peeps. I was diagnosed with lupus nephritis last week and started cyclophosphamide yesterday. I have noticed this week that when I have a bath it is really painful on my feet, like it is when you submerge a burnt body part in hot water. They then mark up with pin pricks as do my legs though

NHS results of blood test
Well, my GP agreed to a blood test for Vit D, Folate, Vit B12 and TSH. I stopped all supplements one week before and didn't take levo that morning until immediately after the test and had breakfast when I got home. I was a bit confused as the TSH result from Blue Horizon was 9.30 then a few days later

T3 and calcium supplements?
Added T3 two weeks ago and now I’m increasing my cytomel ( T3) from 1x0,25 mg to 2x0,25. The question is when to take the second dose with all my supplements. Have hypocalcemia since my TT 6 years ago so I have to take it. Here is my schedule: 6 am- levithyroxine 100/75 mcg + 0,25 cytomel 10 am magnesium

Plant based ALA [alpha-lipoic acid] can weaken COVID-19 infection and maybe even prevent it.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7427590/#!po=9.45946 ALA can increase human defenses against SARS-CoV-2 by increasing intracellular pH. ALA is a potent antioxidant and reduces oxidative stress and inhibits activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB) and can play a vital role in the treatment

Thyroiditis, insulin resistant PCOS, menopause, High BP
Hi - Not entirely sure where to post this given the list of above diagnoses I have just been saddled with. Saw a private Endo, who was amazing, and has said I have all of the above. He's put me on propranolol (beta blocker) for the Thyroid and high blood pressure (180/150), metformin for the insulin

New here, Help with test results please
Hi, Read lots of posts but this is my first time posting. Brief history, I am 46 years old and was first diagnosed hypothyroid and B12 deficient in 2014 when my periods were reversed (heavy bleeding 28 days a month, not bleeding 4 days). Having a coil fitted stopped this but I know if it was removed

Hi. Please could you look at my blood test results below. I was diagnosed with hashimotos in jan and seem to have gone from having an underactive thyroid to now having an overactive thyroid with positive TPO antibodies. My resting heart rate is 85 (used to be 65) and I feel jittery. Even walking pushes

What is the vitamin/thyroid link?
I have always been confused by the low levels and constant supplementation that seems to be necessary for me (and many of you) who have hypothyroidism despite, in my case, a very good diet containing iron, minerals and vitamins- (I understand vitamin D supplementation is often necessary despite diet)
