Not entirely sure where to post this given the list of above diagnoses I have just been saddled with. Saw a private Endo, who was amazing, and has said I have all of the above. He's put me on propranolol (beta blocker) for the Thyroid and high blood pressure (180/150), metformin for the insulin resistance & PCOS, spironolactone for the PCOS and we're waiting for the oncologist for confirmation of HRT risks given my family history of breast cancer, and my history of cystic breasts.
He's encouraged me to continue supplementing with Vit D, B12, Ferritin, Folate, Zinc etc. and wants my ferritin at 100, B12 at 800, Vit D at 150.
He's also recommended 2 x 30 mins exercise a day ( can only manage walking at the moment) and pilates, as well as not eating bread, pasta, potatoes, banana, watermelon, grapes etc.
My question is has anyone else had a similar group of issues and how best have you managed them, naturally or otherwise. I'm slightly reticent about going on so many tablets when I usually prefer more natural solutions. Any advice gratefully received.

Donought I have insulin resistance. Low t3 (poor conversion) is one thing that can cause it.
Sorry to ask if you’ve already posted before, but have you had all your thyroid tests done? If so what were they? You mention other medication but not levothyroxine. X
My TSH is below 0.3 with high-ish T3. Think it was 5.8, maybe higher, can't remember if offhand. He wants my TSH above 1. He reckons with the insulin resistance etc sorted it should go up as well as with the beta blockers. If that doesn't work he'll use carbimozole. Forgot to add I've also have adrenal fatigue/ insufficiency.
Sorry to hear you have too. Do you manage it with diet or meds? Ideally I'd like to be off the meds as soon as.
He's not sure, I've been like it for years but GP's just say it's normal because my TSH in sometimes in range, sometimes just below but my T4 is always low (at the bottom of the range) and my T3 is above range.
TSH tell you nothing about the state of the thyroid. It only lets the doctors know that the feedback mechanism is working.
May I suggest getting some private blood test to include a full thyroid panel with antibody tests. Some others I would recommend are vitamin D, B12 & folate, liver enzymes. Perhaps you need to bring some vitamins and minerals into line first before looking at your organs?
Thanks for mauschen. I had full thyroid but negative for antibodies although I've always suspected hashimotos it seems not to be the case. I'm going to give all the supplements a go as well. I need to increase B12, iron and folate. Vit D is ok at 125. Liver is dodgy as I have Gilbert's syndrome but otherwise send to be ok. Strangely it's my kidneys that hover around stage 2/3 disease. All very odd.
Fluctuates between 50 and 80. I take zinc, ferritin, B12 complex (sublingual), folate, vit c, vit D, K2, starflower daily. Actually, I do iron every other day. Maybe I need the add in the selenium.
