Slowly healing cuts - does honey offer some help
The effect of CLL on the healing of
wounds
is documented on many sites. I know from my own experience that cuts are now take several times longer to heal and seem to scar more than prior to having CLL.

Bunion surgery four weeks on
Two
wounds
healed beautifully but the large one became infected so is being dressed at the local surgery twice a week. I had to come off Leflunamide for a month to prevent infection getting in, but it did.

for first time in ages I snapped, I got stressed in a split second and felt bad about it after. I hate getting stressed so quick and it gets me really anxious as well, I feel my heart rate going up and I have the shakes.

Hi I don't know whats happened but I have been away a few days and I keep trying to post etc and keep getting Health Unlocked NZ.
The website seems to be very disfunctional at the moment, I hope it improves. I asked if anyone had experienced a sensation in their lower arm (right one in my case!) like a crawling sensation. I had this a few times yesterday. Another worry to add to my increasing list. Thanks for reading (if you have

Is anyone pleased after using Actikerall? Have lots of areas to be rid of and have tried all other methods mostly painful or invasive.
Has anyone out there had a positive outcome? My Dermatologist is keen that I try but after reading about this medication on the HEALTH UNLOCKED site I feel depressed before I begin. I was hoping for too much I guess.

recovery time from Lap
I was sick other day and the
wounds
have felt sorer since and even bled a wee bit but not much and doctor said it would have just been the pressure from being sick that caused it.

Acacia and Blackberry Honey for Diabetics
I have read that pure organic Acacia Honey and Blackberry Honey can be consumed in moderate quantities by Diabetic, provided of course the Fating/PP level is within 130/180 and Hb1AC within 6.5 limit. Please advise the correctness of such theory.

Having a period two weeks after my first prostap injection....I'm in agony!!
It's been two weeks since my first laparoscopy and it's not been easy.....having a lot of different pains and one of the
wounds
has become infected. Now, just to make things that little bit more interesting, I have the period from hell.

Sore mouth
Does anybody get sore/swollen lining of the mouth? Not quite ulcers and doesn't look red but is swollen and really sore to eat/smile or talk. If so, any tips? I have been given Orabase by my GP but that just makes my mouth sticky.

Getting really fed up with not being seen!
Hi my husband has lymphedema (since 2009) and frankly has been messed around so much that I tried to do my best to deal with things myself. I was buying dressing from the local pharmacy (kerramax £59.99 for a pack of 10) and online, as the District Nurses were beyond useless. My husband came out of hospital

Stopped work last year
I stopped work last year and my husband, who is now getting a private pension, asked me a question. If I'm not working, will it effect my pension as I'm not paying NI or tax. I'm 55 at the end if the year and I was going to look into drawing my 3 small pensions that I have. I know that they won't

Has anyone undergone amputation with lymphedema?
My husband has lymphedema and has been badly let down by our district nurses to the point i was trying to treat it myself, he has pressure sores and i was using the right dressings (actiform cool gel dressings) on his left leg but he had a bigger sore on his right leg, then he tripped and dislocated
