UCTD now turning into Lupus and or Vasculitis?
Very bad skin, poor wound healing (the
wounds
of last laparoscopic surgery were closed almost after three weeks, my GP tried removed the sutures after two weeks...was not a good idea), I easily scratch and bruise, I have white pigmentation on lower legs and stretch marks on upper and lower legs.

1 Month after Laparoscopy and wound started bleeding
Hi just wondering if anyone has had the same issue. I had my laparoscopy just over a month ago and afterwards my wound developed a infection. I was given a antibiotic cream and oral antibiotics and everything seemed to heal up fine. Now a month after the wound at my belly button has started bleeding

New INR machine...
I thought I was doing great then everything hit at once and the surgery
wounds
stopped healing and kept opening up. I am a neat and clean freak so it was frustrating to have such a toss with my body no matter what I did to prevent it.

Love lost
When true love comes into your life and then goes it can be so hard to let go. But what I am finding out (the hard way) is that when that love is lost, it forces us to confront areas we compromised ourselves or overstepped boundaries in order to make that relationship work. As part of the healing I

Warfarin and burns.
Burned my wrist last week on an oven shelf and, despite doing all the obvious things, healing has been a problem. A pharmacist told me yesterday that warfarin is to blame. Has anyone else experienced similarly? Was told not to use creams but an ointment ( Germolene ) instead, though all three local

Generic Drugs
There was some discussion recently about different batches of drugs causing different side effects so I thought I would talk to my mate at the pharmacy when I collected my December party bag (Have you got yours organised?) . It seems that in MOST cases the manufacturer (generic or specific) makes no

Post Ablation
Hi everyone just thought I would give an update on the cryogenic ablation I had on Tuesday. I had really dreaded the procedure but with support from this forum went ahead with it and it was certainly not as bad as I had expected. The staff were fantastic and kept me fully informed throughout the procedure

Rough timescales for feeling well again?
I'm on day 12 post op now and whilst the pain is nothing like it was im still quite sore where my
wounds
are in the bottom section of my tummy, and I have some deeper aches that I think are menstrual related as my period will be due next week.

Persistent AF following 2 x Cardioversions = Hybrid Ablation, stage 1.
I am still quite sore around the ribs on my right side but my puncture
wounds
are healing nicely. I am having my INR checked twice weekly to get my levels up to 2.5 - 3.0. I am still finding that walking on inclines still presents a problem with energy levels but only to be expected.

Recovered from surgery...
Working to find the balance again since the surgery, yet I feel very well with the exception of the
wounds
not healing all the way and there has been some serious bouts of dizzy spells. The dizzy spells have been very overwhelming when they flow through.

Struggling
Hi ladies, I'm posting today as I am nearly at the end of my tether. It's been just over 2 years since my last lap where I had diathermy of endo on my ovaries and a mirena coil fitted. Sure enough as I knew it would happen I started to get pains again approx. 6 months ago. My GP put me on cerazette

Alternative aids that work
What led me to this I was watching a Yesterday appointment on TV about the civil war there they just packed
wounds
with a mix of honey and oats before sewing them up and the result no infection. Asked the doc about this and he recommended New Zealand Manuka Honey the type I wrote before.

Using Amla/ Indian gooseberry
Has anyone got any experience of having used fresh amla juice to control diabetes? I also found that chromium and vanadium deficiencies can cause diabetes. Has anyone found any research on the subject?
