Private fibroscan in East midlands
Hello my first post here. I have been diagnosed with fatty liver by ultrasound and have symptoms that could be related but my GP doesn't want to look into it as my liver function test is almost normal. I was wondering if there are any private fibroscan services in Lincolnshire or nearby?

St John’s Wort

Please make it stop
I am new to this level of anxiety. It has completely debilitated me. I need help but can't afford anything, even with insurance. On the surface, it looks irrational but I can't control it no matter what I do. I meditate, breath, exercise and try to take care of myself. I have new medications that

Shielding and covid-19
Are people with anoxic brain damage classed as vulnerable during this covid-19 epidemic? I was in a coma in intensive care for weeks and my body/system as never been the same since and I know my body won't survive another trauma.

Still not properly toilet trained
My younger son is almost six and at school and still having accidents 2 or 3 times a day, including at school. There doesn't seem to be anything medically wrong and I am waiting on a referral for an incontinence nurse. It's exhausting. I would love to hear from people with similar experience.

I just received an alert on my page about help with boiler costs , warmhome discount and other help which I posted five years ago. The discounts for boilers or free ones via the government has now changed to a system called ECO, via most reputable heating companies. Warm home discount is available still

Relationship after birth
Hi mamas, I had my little one 8 weeks ago. My husband has been fully supportive and helping out a lot with chores and baby care. However, I feel like we have not been close or don’t have much grown up time. Maybe hormonal of me or maybe he’s respecting the fact that my body is still healing (I had a

Chalazion after injection - how long should we leave it after shot before using hot compresses?
Hi guys, I had my lucentis shot last Tuesday (and a very scratchy shot it was too - my worst in two years). I have a repeated chalazion that comes up on the lid of that eye, and it's in the process of flaring now. Has anyone been given guidance on how long we should leave using microwavable compresses

X Ray results.
I had an xray on my shoulder and got the following results. Not sure what they mean. I called the GP as it said follow up required but she didn't give any indication of what the results actually meant. She just said she is waiting for my ultra sound results first, which I haven't had yet as I am awaiting

Chronic constipation
Please help with some advice. My husband is having so much trouble with constipation. He has tried increasing fiber and liquids, stool softeners, Miralax, Metamucil, magnesium citrate, Senna, Linzess, etc. etc. The only thing that gets him actually going is Dulcolax. He has been to the emergency

A little information
I just returned from hospital after 2 days, I had a TAVR aortic valve repair on my heart. For weeks before procedure I agonized over whether to raise my daily dose of 2.5 mg prednisone. I decided to be optimistic, and not do so, because I could always increase dosage on having adverse effects. So

Feeling sick on Luvox (fluvoxamine)
I've been on Luvox for a week (25mg) and I don't know if it's normal, but I kinda feel physically unwell on it? I'm aware that there are side effects to antidepressants, but it's kinda freaking me out. I feel nauseous and light-headed (I need to either sit or just lie down before the feeling passes).

Itching and Advanced Liver Disease/Anyone without advanced liver disease?
I keep reading itching is one of the signs of advanced liver disease, how is that possible when people with just a fatty liver with mild fibrosis have itching and some without fibrosis have itching. Anyone with itching without advanced liver disease?

Stage 4 central mediastinal mass
After a lobectomy 3 years ago, I now have a stage 4 central mediastinal mass. No reoccurrence in the lung or spread to other organs. I have been told that only palliative treatment is possible and offered (covid permitting) chemotherapy with immunotherapy. Has anyone experience of this cancer?
