I have now seen a Gp re the bleeding piles and she’s confirmed they look sore I can confirm they feel sore I was incredibly anxious waiting to go into see her but calmed down a bit now I’am home so my question is doctor has now doubled up my fybogel to 2 a day that would help on days when I’am constipated

All symptoms back
Hi, Symptoms are now back with avengence. My breathing and headaches are terrible. I have moved my Endo forward to next week and having new bloods this morning. Any suggestions of issues for my consultant? I am going to ask to raise to at least 100 of meds - obviously depending on my bloods. Heart issues

Pseudomonas colonised.
Morning all, l have been on nebulised Colomycin since last August. Although it has kept infections at bay, l am more breathless than l used to be and energy levels are very low. I have told that l will be on this medication for a long time as my lungs are very badly damaged. I cannot walk any length

Regret Invisalign tooth shaving
Hello,I am in my 50s and had worn my teeth due to nail biting. I had a plan to straighten first with Invisalign and then get bonding or veneers. I had a bad feeling about the orthodontist from the 2nd appointment...but I stuck with it. He said he was going to do a "very, very slight" shaving in between

Colon inflammation on CT scan
Thank you for your replies to my previous post. I really appreciate people sharing their experiences with me. I ended up back in the emergency department on Thursday this week as my pain has increased so much. After more bloods I was taken for a CT scan with contrast. Spoke with doctors then following

Selegiline side effects
Hi All. Due to drug shortages we've been unable to get rasagiline and had to swap to selegiline. Since the swap mum has had lots of unusual bleeding and the GP thinks it may be a side effect of the selegiline. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems and if so how did you resolve things?

Sorry for the rant. It's been 7 months and every day I try my best to put my injury behind me and then I remember all the things I have lost because of the head injury. I have post concussion syndrome, central nervous system damage. I have been put on gabapentin to treat the pain and well it does treat

loperamide pregnancy
I have zero choice but to take loperamide a few times a week due to how bad my IBS-D is. I’m currently 18.5 weeks pregnant and my dr has been zero help at all only telling me I can’t take it but all other medications I’ve tried in the past don’t help. If I don’t take it I end up incontinent or cannot

Update on progress and advice needed
Hi all I don’t know whether you recall our story… my husband was in a RTA on 24/11 and woke from coma on 22/12. He has now at 9 weeks been discharged from ICU and moved to a Neuro/rehab ward and is waiting assessment. After a tricky weaning off the ventilator he has now had his trachy removed.

IBS and loperamide
I have IBS which is normally controllable with loperamide. Is it possible to become intolerant to the brand of loperamide that I am using? On the last 2 occasions, my attacks became much worse after taking my usual brand. This has never happened before. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Does anyone

Desperately need help pls
So since last writing my previous post my Son has been experiencing “cluster seizures” - whereby he goes into a trance like state, talks gibberish and he can’t remember events and has no memory of what has happened. He has had approximately 3 or 4 of these “events” between May and December. The December

Cardiovascular issues
Anybody out there with extra-cranial GCA / LVV, have any cardiovascular issues? I was having some shortness of breath, sleepiness & lightheadedness. I'm in the middle of testing for that, but a CAT scan showed I have a dilated aortic root and pericardial effusion. Those explained my symptoms, but neither
