All symptoms back

Hi, Symptoms are now back with avengence. My breathing and headaches are terrible. I have moved my Endo forward to next week and having new bloods this morning. Any suggestions of issues for my consultant? I am going to ask to raise to at least 100 of meds - obviously depending on my bloods. Heart issues are paramont but hoping to get a loop recorder shortly. (Mobitz 1 block). Brachacardia and Tracacardia and numb lips for some reason. Seems to be one step forward and two back. But staying as positive as i can. I had a drink on Saturday. I felt fine in the morning - but wondered if this has had an impact? I have felt worse as the week has progressed.

Wish I could say what to do to make it easier but I'm afraid the first few months can be a bit hellish as you gradually build up to a full replacement dose and sort out a good supplement regime

Be glad you have the first month under your belt as it is an endurance challenge 🙃

You will need to increase to 75mcg first

You haven’t been on 50mcg long …..only just over 2 weeks

I know, i asked him to bring my appt forward as i am eager for my breathing to improve. I also have to go back to work. Do you think alcohol can make things worse? Not sure what the trigger is when i start to feel bad again.

Many of us are intolerant to alcohol so yep quite likely it will make you feel poisoned also dairy as levothyroxine can switch off the mechanism that produces lactase also gluten for many is a big issue 😳 personally I can't do nightshades either... food diary would be useful

It takes 6-8 weeks for each dose levothyroxine increase to have full effect

You may need to be signed off work longer

Are you on gluten free or dairy free diet yet

If not get coeliac blood test done FIRST ideally before trialing gluten free diet

Yes alcohol best avoided until on higher dose levothyroxine

You may eventually be able to tolerate it

No there’s

Mercury Pharma (Advanz)

Or

Wockhardt

Or cut a 50mcg Accord tablet in half
