Colon inflammation on CT scan

Thank you for your replies to my previous post. I really appreciate people sharing their experiences with me.

I ended up back in the emergency department on Thursday this week as my pain has increased so much. After more bloods I was taken for a CT scan with contrast. Spoke with doctors then following day and they said they have seen inflammation in my colon. In the meantime I have also received a slightly raised level on a foecal Calprotectin stool sample which no believe indicates inflammatory bowel conditions but I’m not sure exactly what this is. I’ve now been referred for a colonoscopy to try find out what is going on. It’s scary stuff and the waiting for procedures and results is the worst. I don’t know if anyone has had sinikar findings on scans ?
