Need to reduce meds - should I drop T3 or T4?
Hi All! I have had RI treatment so no active thyroid at all. My TSH is always 0 and I have fought to get T3 as well as T4 because historically, only on Thyroxine, I still felt dreadful with Brain-Fog, tiredness and general malaise. I am currently on 25mcg T3 & 75 mcg T4 which I was happy with until

What next, tests done but how do I interpret.
Still quite new here.......thank you for all the posts and responses to my first posts, it really helped to gear me up to get some test done. I've now had a full range of test done (but not T3)......here are most of them with ranges where I could get them. The GP just wanted to chat about my CHL levels

Could I have Hashimoto's?
I've been given some very useful information about possible B12 deficiency by the Pernicious Anaemia community, but I'm wondering whether I could have Hashimoto's which is causing deficiency in Vit D, Vit B12 and ferritin. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and neurological symptoms (pins and needles in feet

I had a LOT of bloods done in January. I went to the doctors about feeling my health is out of control, I'd given up gluten 6 weeks before and it made a different but I didn't feel well enough considering I don't drink and I'm careful what I eat but gaining weight rapidly. They said I had the autoimmune

New test results...Advice needed
Hello again, It has been a few months since my last post and at that time my thyroid levels were looking good, after surgery to remove half my thyroid, but I was not feeling well. I just had my labs done again this week and I am a bit perplexed. So I am hoping that the HU members can shed some light

A step in the right direction...
So I had a phone call with my doctor regarding the results of the B12 and C-reactive proteins. She said that "clinically it looks like you have enough B12", which I replied 'yes clinically'. (I had previously mentioned it was likely to be high). But I then mentioned the MMA test, which she said she would

Low ferritin, vitamin d deficiency and 'grey area' B12
I've just had the results of Friday's blood tests back (the IFA test is not back yet, but I had that shortly after my B12 injection so I don't know if that will be particularly informative anyway). I am low on Ferritin and Vitamin D deficient - does this suggest an absorption problem? Could this be related
