A success story
I wrote this from memory so some of the details might be a little out. I'd undergone a number of treatments for acute angle glaucoma. I had few symptoms and eye pressures were only slightly elevated (low 20s). The laser surgeries worked and lowered my pressures to low teens, but not before I'd had a

Temporary stoppage of Ibrutinib
I need to stop IB one week pre/post surgery. Today is day 3. Has anyone started feeling reversal symptoms? I’m feeling more fatigued. Hoping my lymph nodes issues don’t return. Just curious.

Advice on lump
I previously put a post on here about a lump I’ve got. I currently am on 150mg thyroxine, I’ve also done the radiation drink. Also had the surgery to remove goiter. I went to the doctors, with this lump, also one mirgraine after another, went to the doctors, saw the nurse the first time, showed her the

just thought I would update and let y’all know that I have an appointment with a doctor at Vanderbilt university medical in Franklin Tennessee in April. Vanderbilt is a RLS quality care center and the closest to me. I actually had one of their Doctors call me and said that if there were any cancellations

red light therapy
has anyone ever heard of or tried red light therapy? I’m sure that’s not the proper medical term but that’s what Dr Cooper called it. After the nerve induction test he said both my legs showed nerve weakness and the red light therapy is what he prescribed saying that it might possibly help the RLS.

Unsure how to proceed after flare continues
I wrote awhile back about having a return of PMR symptoms after successfully (over a year and a half) tapering to 5mg and staying on that dose for two months. The weather had gotten a lot colder here in Seattle and I attributed the flare partly to that. I increased my dose to 10mg for a week and had

B1 and FUS reduced 95% of my Parkinson
I was not here for long time. I was diagnosed with PD in 2017 , even the symptoms started few years earlier. In March 2018 I started the B1 high dose (1000 mg per day) and the last year , in Aug 2023, I had a FUS surgery in Switzerland, performed by dr. Marc Gallay at the Sonimodul clinic. I can

Hypothyroidism help
I had a thyroidectomy in 1984, to remove benign growths. The surgeon said about 25% thyroid remained, but he thought I would not need subsequent medication. I was not told to have regular thyroid function tests, and carried on with my busy life. After unrelated throat surgery in 1997, my consultant asked

Scoliosis Surgery at 75
I finally went through the Scoliosis Surgery that I had scheduled and canceled a couple of times. I had been on Buprenorphine for over a year and was RLS free. The minute I woke up from my surgery, that ugly monster showed up again. This time I could not even move, much less walk. It started very

laparoscopic 4 weeks ago bleeding
Hello, I had a laparoscopy just over 4 weeks ago & had endometriosis removed from both ovaries. Stopped bleeding about a week after surgery, but have started bleeding again like a light period even though I am on the pill. I have been exercising more like swimming so could this cause it? Feel ok in self

Very relieved .......
I am very relieved to say that the results of the biopsy from my recent endoscopy querying suspected Barretts have come back as negative. All other biopsy also clear. I know I am extremely lucky , it has been a very worrying time and it was such a relief to be able to tell my son as well. I have

How long should I expect to bleed for post lap
Hi, I am just wondering what others experiences were in terms of bleeding post lap surgery? (vaginal bleeding, not from the excisions). Consultant had advised 7-10 days but just wonder what peoples lived experiences have been? I'm currently on day 11 of bleeding since surgery and would like to sense

Amazing same day GP service!
I've been struggling with SOB, wheeze and phlegm for nearly 3 weeks and finally gave in and contacted my GP surgery this morning at 8.30, when phone lines opened. They have a new system, where they sent me a form to complete, by text. I filled that in, giving all the pertinent details of what was wrong

Hi endo warriors, How long did it take you to get back to normal after excision surgery please? Hospital were a bit vague about it when I asked. I'm paranoid to get back to things like driving and exercising too soon as don't want to set back recovery. How long does it take to heal internally? I've had
