I take these because they had less side effects than Atorvastatin.I'm happy to recommend it as a statin choice, particularly if you are prone to stomach issues or have been having other side effects on the statin you are on.

I was put on it many years ago and also enzitimbe not sure there is a relationship between the 2. I was first put on statins when they first came out and been on various ones until put on Rosuvastatin 20 mg.Can’t say I have any issues with them I am on a lot of other drugs as well.Remarkably I had my Triple Bypass in 1977 and this year it will be my 47 year since and I am now GWR holder as the longest surviving triple heart bypass patient in the World.

Must be doing something right and still lead a very lively and active lifestyle so can only champion Rosuvastatin which helps me maintain my wellbeing.

I take the max dose, 20mg of Rosuvastatin daily. Had to change because I couldn't get on with any other statin. I get achy legs but that could be a problem with my circulation. (A reduced dose didnt improve things) Other than that I haven't had any problem. All the best, Susie.

Rosuvastatin is the only statin I can tolerate that I have taken so far, no side effects and seems really effective.

Rosuvastatin has been really effective for me too. (unlike some others). No side effects . I take at night. Feel confident!

I'm another that gets on with Rosuvastatin - 10ml daily in my case. I cannot cope with the leg pains and other side effects with Atorvastatin, Pravastatin and Simvastatin. We are all different.

Hi I was on atorvastatin for 6 months and felt dreadful on them and was switched to rovustatin which I tolerated much better. Initially I had problems with sleeping but then took the tablets first thing in the morning and the sleep returned to normal after a week or so, Been on them for 6 months now and no side effects. Good luck with them

I couldn't tolerate atorvastatin and was actually quite poorly in hospital due to them. I was eventually encouraged to try Rosuvastatin and have been absolutely fine with them. No side effects whatsoever I'm happy to say.

Hi, I have been taking Rosuvastatin for 10 months now, my cardiologist prescribed it a month before my CABF X3. About 4 months ago, my dosage was increased to 40mg per day. This is the highest dose for Rosuvastatin, anything higher does not increase effectiveness. It is equivalent to 80mg of Atorvastatin. I do not seem to be experiencing any noticeable side effects so far, although at times one is unsure what is the side effect of what...

So far, so good. I am not overly delighted to be taking it, but apparently it is effective with genetic side of CAD. Many people say that statins' effectiveness is a very small part of the CAD management, but I guess every little bit counts... Kind regards!
