Am in need of a bit of tlc
My husband is 88 and has been having treatment for kidney stones, 3 different ops within a short space of time, and is within a whisker of having to have dialysis. My A/Fib has really come back and my bp which had been under control with no meds is now far too high and am taking increasing doses

How long does GP surgery have to respond to a SAR
I handed in a subject access request to GP surgery on 29th August. Heard nothing, think maybe they are being deliberately obstructive . Went in on Saturday for flue jab, the techy man, supposedly deals with all computer queries was there. He asked if I have had success adding daughter to MY GP app

I had a partial thyroid removal in March 2023 my thyroid test results in April were TSH 2.25 mU/L T4 13.3 pmol/L Do these results look ok. I have not been put on any medication since the surgery but have begun to feel unwell and am considering getting more bloods done?

Hi everyone, my daughter is doing a year abroad in Japan for her university course and I am contemplating making the trip of a lifetime next year with my husband to go there, maybe early March or in May, to see her and see a bit of the country. Help getting B12 injections
A few years ago it was discovered that I had very low B12. The gp prescribed liquid but I wasn’t absorbing orally so he changed it to injections. The loading dose made such a difference and thereafter i had a B12 injection every 13 weeks. Then it all just stopped. The surgery decided they were

Saw eye dr today for yearly visit
And when I was reading the lines when she askes which is better, which is worse, I couldn't make out the bottom line because it was so blurry. Turns out, I have early cattaracts that are right in my line of vision. I will eventually need cataract removal surgery. I am in my mid 40s. The eye dr said

Retzius sparing techniques during RALP
Dear All,Since I live on the other side of the pond then we have a very different health service structure but irrespective of that fact I am very interested in the views of the forum on the cancer treatment which is available to me and how others may have found it. My story: father and brother both

My T story
Hi, I had Open Heart Surgery for Mitral Valve prolapse in June 2022, Occular migraines started straight away, followed by 24/7 tinnitus which started in March of 2023, I am convinced there is a connection to the surgery, but who knows! I moved to USA in 2009, prior to that I was born and lived in Manchester

gallbladder post surgery
I’m recovering from gallbladder surgery, the op was a breeze and no more pain, I’ve stopped with the painkillers as they just made me dizzy , my bowels have been a bit all over but seem to be settling down and hope it was just down to anesthetic. Grandmother, 88 being denied B12 injections
This group has always been very supportive, particularly when I began my B12 deficiency ordeal. I was hoping I could get some advice on a very specific issue I am having with my maternal grandmother, who has had Pernicious Anaemia for as long as I can remember and likely where I inherited mine from.

Covid Jabs
Does being hypothyroid and asthmatic qualify anyone aged 60 for a Covid jab this winter, does anyone know? Receptionist at my surgery has just told me not. Although they want me to have a flu jab! I can't figure that out at all... And what do you guys think about having one anyway? I've had three
