interesting find
has anyone tried grass fed beef liver supplements. I’m wondering if these freeze dried capsules would be beneficial because of the vitamins and minerals in them as I don't seem to be able to keep my levels of anything up without supplementing. As soon as I stop they seem to drop again quite quickly ,

TMD pain
Anybody got any advice on TMD? I have now had two bouts of this awful jaw pain and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with being over/undermedicated. The first time I got it, I had recently gone up from 50 to 75mg levo and this time it follows a recent increase to 100mg. I've had to come off

good morning As you know I have recently upped my supplements to include vitamin d, b complex, k2, magnesium and selenium. I already take cod liver oil on top of my prescribed fluoxetine, Levo, cerazette (birth control) and loratadine(antihistamine). Can I take everything bar the Levo at the same time

testosterone boosters after ADT?
I finished SBRT in September and a six month course of ADT in March. I asked my endocrinologist about zinc and Vitamin D to aid T recovery, and he said it probably wouldn’t help, but won’t hurt anything. I saw some “testosterone support” from Wieder at the store and am considering it. It augments

Which Vits to test for
Hi, I have been given a trial of T3. My thyroxine has been reduced from 75mcg daily to 50 mcgs with T3 added at 5mcgs. I have been taking these for eight days so far. I have an appointment with a GP on Monday and will ask to have my blood tested for vitamins. My question is, which should I be asking

are you taking vitamins / supplements, in conjunction with use of a prescription bone treatment?
let me know how it's going, and what you're using, please, thanks ... after all, the main trial for prolia had participants on daily calcium supplement with vitamin D.

CA 27-29 has your tumor marker test ever gone into normal range
Update to my last update: the people who ran my blood said they mixed up the vials of blood with another patient. They offered to retest me at no expense. I go in tomorrow for my bloodwork retest. I can’t imagine how often stuff like this happens and how often it goes unnoticed. It says Mayo Clinic

A rhesus negative - anti-D worries - can anyone help?
At my 16 week check up with the midwife I was told that I'm A Rhesus Negative which means i'll need to have anti-D injection at about 28 weeks. That all sounded fine and wasn't worried until I read up on it and been on some forums. This is my first pregnancy, however, I did have a miscarriage previously

I have just been diagnosed with Osteoporosis T -2.9 in hips and spine at 64 years old. Dr prescribed biophosphates as my risk of fracture is high (statistically in paper). The thought of having drugs with side effects makes me run a mile and so I started my research that brought me here. I was prepared

Vitamin D suggestion
Dear all, I hope you are all well and not much in pain. Now my older daughter is also diagnosed with SLE, i feel life is a bit more challenging and she is a new mum. I wonder if anyone can suggest couple of brands for Vitamin D. Everytime I take an over the counter brand, it makes me very sick. Any

LOW TSH
I'm extremely angry. I spoke with my endocrine nurse about 2 months ago as I was feeling tired. She refused to do bloods as I'd had them done early March and all was fine.( Full thyroidectomy 10 years ago). I argued the toss with her but she flatly refused. Told me to see gp.I left it for a while to

thyroid hormone resistance? not getting better on t4 alone or t4/t3
Hi! 22 year old male. At diagnosis (classical hypo symptoms) TSH was 11, free t4 was mid range, and free t3 was upper mid range, and cholesterol was 205. Ferritin was 70, vitamin D was 40, no nutrient deficiencies. Upon taking 50 mcg t4 only, TSH came down to 2.01, free t3 did not change, and free t4

Recommendation re supplements
Hi allI'm fairly new to the forum and I'm finding all your info and wealth of experience extremely helpful. Have learnt that addressing possible nutritional deficiencies is important before Thyroid hormone therapy can be optimally effective. I have Hashimotos and recently posted full thyroid panel results
