chronic back and shoulder pain
I have tried rubbing
voltarol
gel over my back and have also take painkillers but non of this works. There is no point making an appointment with the dr as i will have to wait about 3 weeks to see them and hopefully it will have gone by then. Can anyone suggest a way of getting rid of the pain.

I'm a 31 y/o female. I woke up one morning back in April 2013 with achy hands and didn't understand why they felt so achy. I just lived with it until July. It wasn't horrible, just annoying, and it came and went--sometimes made worse by chopping veggies or cleaning--sometimes those activities were

Voltarol Emulgel for swollen hands and wrists.
Wondered if anyone else has had this problem and whether applying
Voltarol
Gel might help. I am on all the prescribed medication for my rheumatoid disease and the gel was originally prescribed for a mis-diagnosed hip bursa which resulted in the above surgery, therefore I have some left over!

Any advice on swelling? I've tried ice and feet up. Anything else?
I take paracetamol, co-codomol at night,
Voltarol
gel morning and night. I can cope with the pain in my joints. The swelling in hands and ankles is the thing that's really stopping me. Any interim advice?

Best pillow position for severe neck pain resulting in migraines?
Dr has prescribed beta blockers and massage
voltarol
gel. But I just can't seem to get my sleeping position right. I'm a side sleeper and normally have one or two soft pillows angled anround my neck with my arm underneath plus a pillow between my legs.

It's a beautiful day...
I was lucky enough to feel up to a walk this morning, with my sacroiliac belt pulled tight and bathed in
voltarol
gel. I thought I'd share a pic with for those of you who might be feeling poorly today, to see if the scenery can lift your spirits too. Gentle hugs xxxx

Back spasm!
Painkillers don`t help much,& neither does
Voltarol
. Does anyone on this site know how to deal with this sort of pain, & prevent it happening again?

This & that!
but has given me some Naproxen &
Voltarol
gel to use. It means I can't do very much, no knitting or wrapping presents or cooking! I hope it improves soon! Hope you all have a happy & pain free Christmas.

Seen the doc feel loads better!
Got a shot of (
voltarol
) which eventually took the edge off. Went to see my GP this morning and he's changed my meds and given me some anti sickness and already I feel so much better.

Chronic Back Pain/Disc Trouble, Voltarol Prescription
Voltarol
was prescribed years ago and IT HELPS so much , reducing swelling and providing substantial relief. Yesterday my GP refused to give me
Voltarol
and gave me Naproxen instead. I could not get a straight answer as to why they will not issue
Voltarol
except that it can cause health issues.

Pain killer advice please! - At the moment taking Meveberine, Diclofenac, Co-codamol and still get pain.
Voltarol
gave me rash...but is this same as Diclofenac? - Diclofenac doesn't give me rash or take away pain! Buscopan was very good to me for a while but I got used to it and it is not effective anymore. I miss it though... What kind of painkiller are you taking, please?

What can I expect?
I was diagnosed a few weeks ago and sent off for a month with Hydoxychloroquine and
voltarol
. Should I be expecting more blood tests? I'm asking this question as I am not in the UK so probably the protocols followed there will not be followed here. Thanks for your input. Clemmie.

Can anyone give me any advice on coping with pain?!
I have tried mefanamic acid, cocodamol,
voltarol
tablets and suppositories and I'm now on tramadol. None of these seem to touch the pain they just make me sick and dizzy. Is there anything out there that can get rid of this pain and help me to lead a normal life?!

No jogging for me :-(
I tried heat, Ive tried cold, I've tried Ibuprofen and paracetamol (not together) and I'm now onto
Voltarol
gel. I can barely move my head in any direction. Was suppose to be my last run of week 8. I'm so disappointed and feeling very sorry for myself. :-(

Endometriosis and PCOS.
I am now taking
voltarol
as a suppository. It is the best pain relief i have ever had. Better than the morphine I was receiving in hospital. I am also having a hormone injection. Called Zoladex which stops the brain sending signal to my ovaries to make them stop producing estrogen.

What do you do for self help for hand flares?
Mine is probably more enthesitis than synovial inflammation, but my wrist is driving me mad at the moment and making it very difficult to change gear, carry anything, or use my hand to push myself up out of bed or out of a chair. I'm using voltaren gel and putting a soft splint on for short periods

GP Saga Continues... Anyone work for the NHS/have info for me?
He's also added in a low dose of
voltarol
and tramadol. It was my first appointment with the consultant - he didn't read my notes, didn't look at me, clearly didn't understand my condition and didn't ask me anything about my pain. My appointment lasted four minutes.

Swollen Fingers Knuckles and Wrists
I have seen my doctor and been prescribed both
Voltarol
medication and Gell to apply directly. Neither of those treatments worked and so I was prescribed Codine to help with the pain, and was sent to hospital for x rays. I was then referred to a Rhumatology clininc where I have been today.

The Document that All Endo Sufferers Must Read!
I even questioned a gynae on this once and he said it wouldn't make much difference - There is inconclusive evidence as to whether anti-inflammatories improve endo pain: I had one doctor tell me my pain couldn't be endo because
