I'm getting celiac test done and he has put me on
vitamin
D
. He said to take a multivitamin to improve my folate level. He thinks my symptoms are down to taking too much levothyroxine, he said I should reduce it and see how it affects my symptoms.

Thyroid Genetic Panel - Results
DI02 - suggest taken T4/T3 therapy, calcium and
Vitamin
D
for low mood. PDE8B - TSH Signalling - The A allele on rs4704397 is linked to reduced thyroid sensitivity to TSH stimulation. This could result in higher TSH levels in order to produce normal levels of thyroid hormones (T4 and T3).

What supplements do you take?
The only things not shown here are my
vitamin
D
and K, which for some reason I keep on my bed stand and take immediately upon waking. Curious what supplements you take for your GCA/PMR and/or adrenal insufficiency.

Nosebleeds and thyroid / blood test query / going private
They also said I should be taking
vitamin
D
(which I already am). Sorry this is very long but I think this boils down to 3 big qs: - Has anyone else experienced nosebleeds like this, is is a hypothyroid thing or possibly a levothyroxine side effect thing? I also get heavy periods.

Possible underactive thyroid?
I have very low levels of
vitamin
d
, high iron (219ng/mL) and was told to take double doses of
vitamin
d
for a couple of months, then to slowly drop down to a normal dose. My TSH level is 4.93 and my free thyroxine is 14.2 (I have no idea what these levels mean).

follow up to previous post. Help please.
TSH, B12, folate and
vitamin
D
below was taken 21/12/23. GP prescribed 50,000 unit 1 a week for 6 weeks
vitamin
D
caps. So we see the ones called calceous 400 unit with calcium 1 twice a day did not maintain her level. So that could be one reason why she suffers muscle and joint pains.
