I need help with my results. I have not been feeling good over the last few months, having weight gain despite eating healthy and extreme puffy eyes and swollen face. I had my tests done through Monitor my Health this Monday and the results came in today. Do I need to make an appointment with my GP and does my medication need changing. I am currently taking 100mg

Monitor my Health:

TSH - 0.66 (12 - 22)

T3 - 3.9 (3.1 - 6.8)

T4 - 14.1 (12-22)

Vitamin D -103 nmol/L

HB - 220g/L

Ferritin 60ug/L

TSAT - 10% low

Active B12 - 131 pmol/L

Folate 4.5 ug/L

Yes, you could certainly do with an increase as you are currently very low in hormones...

TSH 0.66 mIU/L (0.27 - 4.2) 9.9%

Free T4 (fT4) 14.1 pmol/L (12 - 22) 21.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 3.9 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 21.6%

T4:T3 Ratio 3.615

But you might have to battle you GP as they tend to be led by TSH only and many dismiss 'private' testing even if done in an NHS lab! 😡

Also your folate is terrible do MMH just say >4? You really need that to be in double figures at the very least

TSAT suggests low in iron?

thank you for helping out. I have been feeling low, exhausted and hair is also falling in clumps. I just hope the GP listens.

Personally I'd be at the GP with those results and insisting on increase to 125 daily. Those percentages are long way off the recommended 70-75%.Those symptoms are very common when undermedicated, unfortunately it's the same old story the GP paying more attention to numbers on a screen rather than the actual symptoms.

If one more voice helps give you confidence to push on… I reinforce all above - your Ts are absolutely too low to feel well.
