receptionists acting like doctors?
when I last saw my Doctor I asked if she’d read the paperwork I’d left for her but as her surgery was being decorated she said they were probably in her pidgeonhole but she did ,agree to my having my B12 at 8 weeks. When I went to the desk to book it the receptionist came back at me and said I wasn’t

Could someone look at my results please
hi I appreciate your views on my blue horizon results. I have CFS and have been looking into my thyroid, from what I understand these results look fine for thyroid health. However I am concerned about the cortisol test result as I read it should be around 400? I take ashwaganda but hadn’t taken

Grain free B12 injections - hypersensitive
Hi, just wondered if anyone has advice re trialling B12 injections which I've just been offered by GP. I am totally grain free, medication and chemical reactive (so don't take any and avoid as much as possible). So far I've been using grain-free (even in production) oral and sublinguals but would like

Recommendations for Endos in/near Berkshire
Just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for endos in or around Berkshire if they could pm me. I have seen one recently who has said he doesn't think I've ever had a thyroid problem as I was borderline when diagnosed but still have many symptoms. My TSH is very low but I am on a combination

Well at least that’s one less thing to worry about.
I’m so pleased to learn that my recent dexa scan after seven years of prednisolone is normal and unchanged from three years ago. Not being a pill popper before diagnosis I have struggled to take the calcium and Vit D supplement and Alendronic Acid which were prescribed as routine by my GP. A dexa scan

B12 and Thyroid Test
I have just ordered advanced thyroid test from medi checks and was taken aback to read that B12 should be stopped 2 weeks before test. Because of neuropathy I self inject B12 every other day and have done ever since diagnosis of hypothyroidism over a year ago, whatever blood tests I have had. Should

Update B12 appointment . help needed
Thank you all for your advice . Had an appointment yesterday and despite feeling exhausted dizzy and having some pins and needles in my hand. (NHS website says 2_3months with malabsorption issues.) . I was told they cannot go against local NHS guidance and got to wait for 12 weeks for my B12 jab. I

Medichecks Folate Range
I've seen mentioned on here a number of times that folate levels should be at least halfway through the reference range. I'm struggling to understand whether a level of 12.2 is too low or not given that it's the product of a Medichecks test which simply states that normal means >7 ie without stating

New Thyroid Results - Conversion Issue?
Hi, After an emotional Thyroid rollercoaster these past couple years (post partial thyroidectomy 12/2/21 in combination with an Endo who doesn't believe in compounded medication), I finally seem to be settling into a medication and dose that works okay. I'd have to say that I'm still a bit tired and

B12 storage?
I have just realised that my fridge has gone haywire. Temperature up to 2 degrees.Turned it off!In the bottom were 8 pkts of B12 wrapped up in their packing plastic. They are still liquid ,but would this low temperature have destroyed their efficacy? I don't know how long fridge has been cooling.

B12 Jabs treatment changed again
on my last appt with the GP nurse for my B12 jab, my patient notes were changed back from 8 weekly jabs to 12 weekly. My question is can a nurse change my treatment plan on my notes without my permission. I only noticed this when accessing part of my medical notes on my healthcare app. I am unwilling
