Hypothyroidism & Pre-operative blood test results Abnormal
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around 2012 - 2013 and prescribed Levothyroxine by my GP. Prior to an operation in 2017 I had pre-operative bloods taken, which included TSH and FT4. My blood test results showed that my TSH levels were very low and outside reference ranges. TSH : * 0.09 mIU

Slow trudge to the finish...
I had a video appointment with my rheumatologist last week. It's a good thing that it was a video appointment as I was in the grip of a very heavy and disgustingly snotty cold. I would have felt irresponsible going to the hospital even wearing a face mask. I hadn't taken pred at all since August with

Pushing to hard/pacing
Going on 7 months of 4 injections a day am now working on how hard I feel I can push before the benefits to my health outweigh the results. When in the throes of B12 deficiency I did not push too hard as I only did what was necessary to get by. When working with medical staff and only on 1mg a day

I have had symptoms of weight gain, hair loss, struggle to lose weight, low mood fatigue etc for a while. I had my bloods done in 2021 and my T4 was 11.5 and my TSH was around 2.5 ( they didn’t test T3. Have just had private tests and have input them into the calculator but am having trouble interpreting

New to RA /methotrexate looking for advice.
Been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few weeks ago and starting methotrexate tomorrow which I’m starting on 10mg for 2 weeks then 15mg for 2 weeks then 20mg from there, also 5mg of folic acid the other six days and 5mg of prednisone for now but reducing it. Do I need to worry about anything ?

New ER for low hemoglobin
I am preaching to the choir to tell you that the US healthcare is a mess. I still do not have answers or a transfusion. My hem/onc wanted me back in the ER, and last night’s ER doctor did not do all the bloodwork she wanted even though the two hospitals are in the same system. I chose to go to Yale Nee

Thyroid Function test
A friend has recently had TSH and T4 blood test via GP . I have suggested she join this wonderful community but said I would give her blood test results for your input. She has had a lot of gut issues, brain fog, exhaustion. Her results are: Serum free T4 level (XaERr) below range 9.7 pmol/L (10.5-24.5
