For months I’ve been taking PT or VB but decided to try Health Leads on a recommendation but guess what(?!!), my urine has taken on that bright yellow colour and familiar odour of the types of B12 product I’d stopped taking. Does this mean it’s an inferior product and I’m just peeing it down the loo
The Health Leads has much less folate and methylcobalamin but 4 x the quantity of B6 and having read a bit about the benefits of B6 I wanted to test to see if more made any sort of difference. I’m now left wondering if I should’ve bothered
It would be interesting to know why PT and VB don’t have that smell/ fluorescent urine effect. Does it mean the body holds onto more of the B12 ? I should’ve done a test before switching to see how my levels are doing on the previous brands

Well strangely, it’s got only 200 in it whereas the PT and VB have 500 and even when I take a double dose of either one of those, on occasions, there’s no fluorescent pee
From what I can see of the Health Leads B complex it has 50mg of B2 compared to the other two that have 10mg... hence the neon pee
But it also has 4 x more of the inactive form of B6 which could be blocking your uptake
I bought a separate P-5-P B6 after I'd been using PT and my levels were very low and now stick with 1 x Igennus and extra B6 twice a week as I've certainly noticed the difference
