hi all ,

I’m just after a bit of advice . I was diagnosed with this in 2018 - had loads of tests and also have mild asthma .

I’m not on any meds only pump when needed which isn’t very often I find it burns and doesn’t really help at all , as I can bring the mucus up on my own .

I used it yesterday and I also flew from the UK to Florida as taking daughter on holiday for a week .

I had a small nose bleed and then felt something I needed to cough up which I thought was mucus but was blood .

I’m in good health , apart from low vit b12 which I take supplements and have recently done a whole lot of blood work which was normal. Could the blood be from the flying etc ?

Many thanks for any feed back

It's possible you swallowed some of the blood from your nose bleed and then coughed it up maybe?

Personally I'd not worry if it's just that blob.flying can cause probs but as Yummz says,u may have swallowed it ftm nose bleed.enjoy Yr hols x

Some of the nosebleed probably dripped post nasal & came back up as a blob. I'd seek confirmation if it happens again. Stay covid safe over there and have a great time. P

This happened to me once. I also have Asthma & mild Bronchiectasis. It’s rather scary. I often had nose bleeds but this was a big blob. I freaked out at first but never happened again. Obviously I’m no expert & can’t advise so it’s up to you. 🤞it dosnt happen again.
