Difficulty in getting bone scan results
Hi there I had a bone scan in October last year and after months of chasing finally got a call from my GP surgery on 7 June to inform me they had my results, that I have osteoporosis and need to go on alendronic acid. I have been checking my NHS app for the actual results but they've not been added

B12 is a cofactor to the energy I get from the sun.
This is from 68 years of experience and observation 3 of them under supplementing B12. It is assumed that diet is the reason that those in the mediterranean climate may live longer. Pseudo Science that pays well.

Immonocompromised CLLer with numerous warts.
I've had CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) for at least 15 years, currently on oral therapy (acalabrutinib) to control my leukemia. One annoying problem that has worsened in the past year is an increase of warts. I've had warts for over 10 years, but they have not been as numerous or cosmetically

I went to 5 at night but am weaning off myself with the help of 50mg Tramadol around 6pm. Down to alternating 2 or 3 at night slowly. Had bloods

A victory with my NHS GP! 🥳
I just wanted to share my joy that I've won my battle with my local surgery to get my EOD B12 injections on NHS prescription! After complaining in a persistent and factual manner about their handling of my health issues, I asked for them to provide injectable B12 over a pill that my stomach can't absorb

Alendronic acid
New GP has recommended Alendronic acid following Dexa scan which shows problems with lower back. She said to ask Dentist for his opinion - he says OK as far as they're concerned although I couldn't have extractions if on AA (not planning on having any anyway)! One tablet per week for ever presumably

Self Injecting Query
I posted earlier about my health problems over the past two years. I saw an old post that said if you have Neuro symptoms then you should get loading doses then a jab every 2 months. This is my NHS regime currently. I've had jabs for about 10 years, was on 3 monthly and was changed to two monthly. "

How Do you Know When You're On Enough B12?
I'm normally on the thyroid forum but have posted on here a few times and I would value your expertise. Sorry for the magnum opus post 😁 I've been on B12 injections for a number of years, used to be every 13 weeks but as I have other conditions, Fibro, Ehlers Danlos and hypothyroid and I've had persistent

please can anyone help with how to manage the excruciating pain with endo?
I'm currently prescribed mefenamic acid (250mg tabs) and cocodamol (30/500mg tabs) but the gp said there is nothing else. They barely touch the sides and I'm in complete agony. Does anyone have any ideas/help that they could please offer me? I have a heat pad constantly attached to my tummy but even
