Think my eyes are rebelling!
Had to phone the emergency on call doctor yesterday morning, my eyes were so sore, red and I felt like I had been crying for days, spoke to Doctor and we think the latest eye gel for nights, which wasn’t preservative free has caused a reaction. Currently I’m on Tiopex, Brinzolamide, monoprost, steroid

Fluid behind macular
Hi Has anyone had a situation with fluid behind the macular. I had a detached retina in January. Left it a little longer than I should. As I didn't know what it was. The surgeon tried to repair with a glass bubble. Which didn't work. So used silicone oil on the next operation. The surgeon then removed

vision problems
i was wondering if anyone had vision problems when they first got diagnosed with a heart condition such as afib or wpw? like blurry vision or light sensitivity. and how long it took to go away after your ablation?

Macular hole surgery - post op recovery process.
Hello. I am new to this forum and wondered if anyone had experience of the recovery process. I understand a gas bubble is injected into the eye and this has to be kept in place by “posturing” ie. keeping your head facing down. How on earth is this achieved. I tried lying on my front in bed and lasted

Iridotomy Update .
Hi All. It went well , though he had some issues with my right eye . I had a bleed , so he had to press on my eyeball that was uncomfortable , most of the zaps were fine , though did feel a few , but after zapping and zapping he stopped and said he couldn’t do it . He then did my left eye . After that

Blindness from Eyelea injection...
I've had three injections since Eyelea was introduced into my treatment. The last one (July 06) something very unusual happened. Before I've had some very minor discomfort and blurring of vision and it cleared up in a couple of hours. This time, however, I ended up totally blind in my left eye. The '

Iridotomy today.
Well the time has finally arrived for my iridotomy on both eyes this afternoon . I feel ok about it, a bit nervous obviously , just hoping 🤞🏻I don’t get any of the visual side effects like ghosting , lines and glare . Wish hubby could come in with me though for company . Hope everyone is doing ok

Hello!
Hello all! I am new to the community. 2 months ago my mom's undetected brain aneurysm ruptured. We feared the worst but got the best. After being in an induced coma and then waking up she moved finally to a rehab hospital and is on her way to recover. During that time my dad suffered a trauma injury

Chronic Central Serous Retinopathy and Lucentis injections
Hi, i was diagnosed with CSR in 2012 at the age of 34 and told it was nothing to worry about and would last about 6 to 18 months. 9 years later, cases in both eyes, reviews every 3 months. several flourescein angiograms, I am now on lucentis injections. Has anyone had any success with these injections

Eye irritation after clinic appointment
Good morning all! I recently had a clinic appointment 6 weeks after having an aqueous shunt removed from my right eye (it wouldn’t stop leaking.) Recovery has been going well and I was finally getting on top of managing my dry eye symptoms - mainly by using a shed load of Thealoz Duo dry eye drops. Anyway

Happier and worried at the same time
Went for another check-up yesterday regarding eye pressures. They have gone down to 18 in each eye, so I am back to just the Monopost at night now with another check up in three months time. The right eye that had the cataract op has healed up, although I still get reflections from lights at night

Had my first ever eye injection with Eylea, have a question
I thought I was prepared for my first injections (both eyes). I seemed to be handling it ok until I felt something happening inside my eye. It was really difficult to cope with. Ive not noticed anyone else mentioning this, is it usual to experience this, it happened with both eyes. Also seconds after

Vision symptoms in PD?
Each morning I have crusts of dried mucous in both eyes. But much worse in my left eye, the same side that has PD signs like tremor. Is the eye condition typical of PD? I've been using Restasis eyedrops for several years to treat Dry Eye. But have been dealing with PD for less than one year.
