Does anyone here have an obsession with words?
For 2 years I have always had the word absurd in front of my eyes and I'm tired of this now. I can not do anything I love. it seems like this word will never go out of my sight. Medication didn't work. I am currently receiving emdr therapy, it has helped a little but it cannot destroy the word. What

Going Gluten Free - 1 Year On #hashis
I went GF last January (religiously GF from Feb as there were some things I didn’t realise had gluten in (soy sauce being one of them)). It’s been the best thing I’ve done for my health. The most noticeable improvement was with fatigue and quality of sleep. I actually wake up feeling refreshed (before

Blood shot eyes any information please
Truth be know I have not been well really since 2017. Hair loss (alopecia totalise all my hair except my eyes lashes) I'm lucky. Chronic nodular prurigo which I am just recovering from, it causes large itchy sores and since last year I was diagnosed with PMR. Through all this I periodically get blood

Fet advice
Hi everyone, I am waiting for my period to start FET next week. I am on hydroxychloroquine I have palindromic rheumatism and sacroiliitis. I have done all blood test to see if there is any autoimmune disease and all come back normal. Any tips/advice, vitamins I should be taking apart from folic acid

Dry eye and dry nasal passages
Here’s a new one for me. I have been troubled with my eyes since before Christmas so I went to the opticians and asked them to have a look at my peepers. I was experiencing really dry gritty eyes upon waking first thing in the morning, so bad that I could barely open my eyes. Anyway they prescribed

Eye Sensitivity
My mum suffers from myopic degeneration amongst other eye problems she is blind in one eye and has very little sight in the other . Amongst coming to terms with going blind my mum has to deal with very sore painful eyes which she gets from the sun but even from a white room or too much screen time .

Pain in eye 7 days after eyelea injection
Pain in eye, 7 days after eyelea injection. Wonder if this is normal. I woke up this morning with discomfort in the eye that was treated with Eyelea. It is the 4th injection of eyelea No problems. Also previously had treatment with Lucentis. I had no problem. Would this be normal?

Covid Injection
Covid Injection. I wrote a while ago about the vaccine. I tried adding to it but it seems that the link no longer exists. When my husband , who is not a pep, had the vaccine. He reacted badly and has been quite ill. Blood tests indicate that at some stage he has had Covid. When I had my vaccine I

Running on my own post C25k
Well Thursday night was my first consolidation run since graduating. I was certainly in two minds whether to go out given the rain and the ridiculously strong winds, but with gritted teeth I decided to give it a go. PTSD
This is going to be hard to tell. It happened long time ago and I thought that it was gone. I lost my mother in a car accident at age one, my father was an alcoholic. I was raised by my lovely grandmother and grandfather who lost 3 children in that car accident. Actually 5 people died that afternoon

my life is a failure
I am sorry for this long and chaotic post. And for all the mistakes, I currently live in the UK but I'm from Germany, English isn't my first language. I grew up with drug and alcohol addicts, my childhood was really crappy and I've experienced a lot of abuse. Unfortunately, I never got any support

How do people cope with light sensitivity?
In the evenings I have to have lights switched off and sit in the dark. I do have light blocker glasses but only help minutely. It's very irritating for my family. Any help appreciated

Been a while! (Darn ice!)
Today was an exciting day! It had been a while since my last run due to the crazy weather! I wanted to run regardless but when I went out with my dog I found the snow was far too deep and where it wasn’t we were skidding all over the place on the ice so I decided it’d be best to wait to avoid injury!

Where to get assessment?
Hello, I'm wondering, can ptsd be assessed/diagnosed/treated by a psychologist or does it need to be a psychiatrist?

High IOP, bad floaters and possible Glaucoma at 33, absolutely terrified
Hi, I am 33 and for the last year I noticed the onset of floaters in both eyes, which slowly worsened throughout 2020 and now appear like dirty washing water tumbling around. I went for a full check up and during this check I was told that there was no indication of retinal issues, but I was slammed

Covid vaccine
Hi everyone Just wanted to say that I've had my covid vaccine on Sunday. Slightly sore arm for a couple of days and my secondary Sjogren's was triggered a couple of hours afterwards. In particular, extremely dry mouth and subsequently, drinking water as though it was on the verge of becoming extinct

Resistant to PEP?
Can you be resistant to PEP? I have been taking it a few times because I’m working as a nurse.
