Cotreatment with dichloroacetate and omeprazole exhibits a synergistic antiproliferative effect on malignant tumors
As a follow up to my last post I found this on DCA / Omeprazole. like myself, please treat this as information , not promoting any treatments. For me I find reading and learning about my cancer and possible treatments to be uplifting and gives me hope. To be honest something I never get from my doctor

PMR resurgence
I’ve just finished a course of antibiotics for a bladder infection so am going for a fresh set of bloods, urine and poo today to try to establish if PMR has returned. It certainly feels like it! Since completing a 950km bike ride in France over 11 days I have been absolutely floored. I started

colonoscopy query
I’m scheduled to endure a colonoscopy on 16th January. We are booked on a flight to Thailand on 1st February (14 hours) . Guidelines say two weeks should pass before flight so in theory ok. However this is a trip of a lifetime for us, much delayed and all booked before this cancer worry. I’ve no idea

Suitable drugs for hypertension
I am due to see my GP on Wednesday and I know we will be having a conversation about my raised blood pressure (in the region of 159/70). I already know calcium channel blockers are not good for RLS and I cannot take beta blockers which make my heart go much too slow. Could any of you good folk give

Hi, I was taking Indapamide for 4 weeks and my BP was great, however my GP has taken me off them as he said my sodium levels are too low, now I'm on Doxazosin and my BP is right back up and I feel rubbish. Aspirin Question
Does anyone happen to know if it’s ok to take Excedrin, for a bad headache, when you have Essential Thrombocythemia & on Pegasys? Asking because I know there’s a fairly high dosage of aspirin in Excedrin. Thank you!

How effective is fenofibrate for itch?
My doctor suggested a few different drugs, like rifampricin, naltrexone, and fenofibrate for my itch. He prescribed fenofibrate as he thinks it works best. Does anyone here take it and if so, has it helped? I'm worried about the warnings it comes with about severe liver damage.
