Hello All New to the site and looking for a bit of advice. I have been suffering with palpitations for around 3 years now.....since having x2 covid vaccinations! I asked the cardiologist if that could be what has caused them and they just brushed me off. I have been referred to cardiology, had a

NHS questionnaire
Yesterday I got a text asking me to fill in a very long questionnaire about why I had refused a
vaccination
. Sounds like they are concerned about how many people are refusing them. Anyone else received it?

Yes, You CAN have the Shingles Vaccine
Hi Everyone, I'm writing this just in case there is anyone out there who thinks they can't have the shingles vaccine because they are on pred. I believed this and refused the vaccine. I later found It was only true if you were on over 20mgs of pred (which I am not). Last October, a new vaccine

Re-inoculate?
Hello you wonderful and oh-so-knowledgeable folks! This is a good-news story. After 11 months on a zanu-obin-venetoclax trial I've been in remission for 3 years. AND a lymphocyte subset test suggests that my B cells are coming back! Now here's my question: while I was on treatment and in the past

Overcoming Pneumonia Susceptibility
I flunked my first docetaxel infusion in late 2022 and a week later developed pneumonia resulting in me carried by ambulance to the hospital. As I said in my bio, I was told that another six hours without intervention, I would have been lost. I spent four days there with "tank car" loads of vancomycin

COVID and Pegylated Interferon
I therefore wonder if the latest upcoming booster
vaccination
is required. Does anyone have any information about this? I presume the benefits of having it outweigh the risks but I would be interested in hearing other's opinions.

Contact with child vaccinated against chicken pox
Hi, Hope all are doing well. Making slow progress here, but all going in the right direction so I am told. Feel better than the beginning of the year for sure! Got next rituximab in August 🤞 I have not seen my great niece for quite some time and had hoped to visit her as she is growing fast.

Covid vaccine or not ?
Thoughts on whether or not to vaccinate for covid please ? Any relevant data out there ? My last jab was October 2023 , I got covid in December. Given I got it anyway I thought no more vaccinations. That was pre PMR/possibly GCA diagnosis in Feb .As always, differing opinions on this . I’m not convinced

Covid and flu jab
What’s the experience of anyone who has taken covid
vaccination
and flu jab at the same time? I have heard(whether it be true or not), that having the jabs 2 or 3 weeks apart could mean feeling less poorly etc.
