Tetanus booster shot, UK
It's rare in the UK because the tetanus vaccine has been part of the routine
vaccination
schedule for many years.

Shingles Vaccine
I am 73 and have been invited for a shingles
vaccination
. I have PMR and Hashimotos thyroiditis and have had severe reactions to previous Covid jabs such that my consultant advised me not to have any further boosters. Does anyone have any advice or experience to share regarding the Shingles jab?

Vaccination question
Had my flu and COVID boosters on Tuesday. Felt fine yesterday morning other than two sore arms. But when I started running I had no energy at all and ended cutting it short and walking home. I do hope it’s the effect of the boosters. Anyone else got any experience of this?

Denied Covid-19 Vaccination
Hubby said she’s my wife & as I’m immunocompromised, she’s had a
vaccination
every time I have, plus she has Lupus. We were told the rules have changed & it’s now a lot stricter as to who can have a

Flu and Pneumonia vaccinations
I was wondering if having the Flu shot or Pneumonia shot causes AFib episodes like COVID did.

Contact with child vaccinated against chicken pox
Hi, Hope all are doing well. Making slow progress here, but all going in the right direction so I am told. Feel better than the beginning of the year for sure! Got next rituximab in August 🤞 I have not seen my great niece for quite some time and had hoped to visit her as she is growing fast.

Covid vaccine or not ?
Thoughts on whether or not to vaccinate for covid please ? Any relevant data out there ? My last jab was October 2023 , I got covid in December. Given I got it anyway I thought no more vaccinations. That was pre PMR/possibly GCA diagnosis in Feb .As always, differing opinions on this . I’m not convinced

COVID booster dilemma
I’ve always had the vaccinations and boosters without major problems. Now with one month to go I need to decide whether to have the current one. I’m on pred and Leflunomide (alendronic acid and statins).

What would you do??
My wife's niece who lives in the northern part of Alberta is coming too Ontario for the months of August and September. She has asked to stay with us as we are the closest to where her treatment will be. It will be just her and her husband. My quandary is that both have never had any covid vaccinations

Covid!!!!
Hubby and I were both enjoying a long overdue week in the sunshine - 4 days into the holiday hubby developed a sore throat and a cough, and a few shivers. Temperature ok… Roll forward 2 days and my AF was kicking off in spite of medication. Home today and both of us tested positive for Covid. Fortunately

Covid Vax and age
I’m in the US and have lupus and many other disqualifying illnesses 😊. I just read a thread in which folks thought their PMR began with Covid jabs. After 3 Moderna, and 3 bouts of Covid I don’t think I want to get vaccinated again. But then there’s flirt. I have 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 4 with long

Headaches / update, also Spring Covid Vaccine update.
I was grateful for everyone’s’ replies to my recent post and I telephoned my Haematologist who advised a blood test and to see a doctor as soon as possible If I couldn’t see my GP the Haematologist said they’d fit me in at the hospital clinic. However, I had a full blood test that day at my G.P’s and

I feel like my life imploded
Life has been a rollercoaster. I have barely been able to get out of bed. My meds quit working months ago. My veins quit cooperating so they've been using the veins in my hands before they decide to put a port in me- Which I am not looking forward to. I have done everything they've said to avoid it,
