Feeling rubbish after Covid booster!
Had the booster yesterday….Moderna Spikevax…and the nurse said it was likely that I would feel rubbish today. She was correct, unfortunately! I started feeling tired and cold last night, aching all night and aching in joints and muscles now. At least I don’t have the awful headache that I have had

What to do if going up 5mg in a flare didnt work?
I have to admit I stupidly had a
vaccination
for travel four days ago . Could this have affected it? I would really appreciate advice....should I go back up, or see if the pains go away at 5mg which has been my dose for a long time. Thanks

Women With MS Require Better Reproductive Care
This article is about one study that isn't perfect, and it's a bit vague about the care women should be getting. It mentions cervical cancer screenings and I think HPV vaccinations. But it does raise questions for me that I plan to ask my gynecologist about. Like does being on what they call an "IS"

IBS, possibly menopause, any advice
Hello, I’m looking for any advice if possible, I was diagnosed with IBS over 20 years ago now. I think I had it as a child, it seemed to come about right around the same time I got my periods at 11. Every month I would have horrendously heavy menstrual cycles that were so painful I’d almost pass out

CLL survival times ARE improving, thanks to BTK and BCL-2 inhibitors
Many of us were shocked after our CLL/SLL diagnosis when we googled for survival times. Hopefully we subsequently read that search engine information from Google, Bing, etc., is way out of date, due to the fact that with CLL being a chronic disease, the relatively long survival times with this

New medication for boosting immunity against covid19
Hello everyone from snowy NY. My spouse received his first kidney transplant 11/2018 and I just told him about this news. Apparently, there is a new IV infusion for people who are very immunocompromised to help improve their health from getting covid19, since the vaccinations were not working as hoped

A very special interview with Dr Patrick Harrington regarding Covid vaccines and MPN patients
be immunosuppressed and the further research which was looking at the response to vaccinations in MPN patients, the findings being encouraging with 80 – 90% of patients showing an antibody and T-Cell response after a single dose of vaccine, and after 3 doses, very positive results in response to the

Travel Vaccinations
Hi. I have already emailed my Rheumatology Team but thought I would also ask for others experiences. I am considering travelling to countries which recommend vaccinations for things like Polio, Diphtheria, Hep A and B, Cholera, Tetanus etc. Now, I have had some of these in the past but longer than 10

A Shingrix thank you
Hi, I just wanted to thank so many of you who have spoken of your side effects with the second Shingrix, yet being worth it. It was when I recently read here that being only half vaccinated was still being open to Shingles that spurred me into getting the second one today, after 2 1/2 years. After

Vaccines – at what point do they become a disbenefit?
I need to state out front that I’m not anti
vaccination
, I believe in the benefits having had several as a kid and now 6 anti COVID doses.
