Hello dear support groupTapering, covid, vaccination booster.
I am 9 days into a positive covid test. My flu-like symptoms have almost gone, with no apparent effects on my current prednisolone tapering effectiveness. Currently at 10mg, lowering by 0.5 mg per month, due to reduce soon. Do you think I should extend the 10 mg for another week. The PMR symptoms have been following the same manageable pattern since 15mg, and I'm hoping having covid will not rock the boat.
Have postponed scheduled spring booster vaccination, and wondering if and when I should rebook this vaccination.
Many thanks for any advice offered.

Probably sensible to stay at 10mg for longer, and more than a week, as you say you don't know the repercussions of covid - if there are any...but best to be prepared.
Current rules have been relaxed regarding booster vaccines following a case of covid.. this is what is says in the booking confirmation letter -
What to do if you have had COVID-19 or symptoms of COVID-19:
If you have COVID-19, or think you might, wait until you feel better before getting vaccinated. You should also wait if you have a high temperature or feel particularly unwell with any illness. If you have recently got better from COVID-19, there is no need to delay getting vaccinated.
I have my spring booster booked 10/5, when I booked I was asked have I got Covid or had it recently. Neither apply to me, but I was told 6W post Covid is fine to get vaccinated.
