In the Rush to Return to ‘Normal,’ What Happens to the Vulnerable? By Sarah Wildman in NYT 04/10/22
Just as mask mandates fell, the White House announced that money has dried up for free testing and
vaccination
for the uninsured and for the purchase and distribution of monoclonal antibodies, a treatment for Covid-19 that is still not readily available.

Rubella Vaccination?
Hi everyone, hope you are well! I've just found out via some bloods that I am not Rubella immune despite having both MMR doses as a child. At first my clinic advised I should get a booster which would mean pushing out my treatment cycle to March but now that they have my vaccine history they have said

Third shot side-effects.
I lowered my corticoids about 5 days before my
vaccination
day. Today 20th, I still have a fever that doesn't go below 38°C. I don't suffer from chills or sweats, I only sweat at night if I take paracetamol.

Confused about 4th Covid vaccination
Hello everyone I’ve had an email and a letter about the 3rd vaccine (which I’ve had) and now about the 4th vaccine. It says that “ I may have a medical condition or be receiving treatment that could significantly weaken my immune system” and may now need a 4th booster dose. I’m only on 4mg pred but have

Results - COVID survivior, 4 shots, antibodies and on...
My specialist, Dr Shou Ma, MD, PhD, of Northwestern University Hospital tells me to get every
vaccination
she recommends. This includes all four shots (had booster shot four days ago), the monoclonal antibodies) and Evusheld. I am approved for the Evusheld for next month.

Can't get on top of this flare
I didn't use the Actemra on 4th Feb as I had my 4th Covid
vaccination
that day (I've had experience of my neutrophils dipping dramatically after vaccinations and Actemra might make the recovery slower). A week later I took the Actemra again and reduced pred to 1.5mg, on 10th Feb.

4th vaccination?
I have had an appointment sent to me for a 4th
vaccination
. I have already had the booster in October. I am taking Tacrolimus and steroids for seronegative inflammatory arthritis. Just wondered if anyone else has heard about their 4th injection? I live in North Wales.

Another question are: 4th Covid Vac.
I have finally managed to get an appointment for 4th Covid
Vaccination
through letter from Haematologist to GP who’s admin booked me into a Pharmacy. I went today only to find they’ve run out of Pfizer which I really wanted as last 3 have been.

New and better antibody test results? Should I celebrate?
After my second
vaccination
last year I did a Roche Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Total Antibody Test and it registered 12 U/mL. The accompanying literature indicates that a reading of less than 0.8 U/mL means negative for antibodies. So something good in my test.

4th Vaccination
I went to the local walk in centre for my 4th jab today armed with every bit of paperwork I could think of just in case there was any doubt I should have it. I told them why I was there and was amazed that they didn’t even ask why I needed it and didn’t ask for any proof! In and out in 5 minutes 😃

Finally got “it” !
I have been on prednisone for 5 years and I’m currently taking 8 mg. I have been very cautious since COVID hit and my wife and I managed to avoid getting sick. Well, at least up until 2 days ago. We both felt like we were coming down with a cold so we decided to perform a home test. Much to our surprise

Adrenals stuttering to life?
After a reasonably uneventful journey from 20mg pred in Jan 2021 (PMR diagnosed early Jan, triggered I think by the first Covid
vaccination
) to 7mg in April, I am now in the middle of reducing from 61/2 to 6.
