Vaccines After Treatment
When I was first diagnosed with CLL I was given 'top-up' vaccines for the normal childhood illnesses. In addition in the last two years I have had Shingrix for shingles. Now just finished a 12 month course of Obinutuzumab and Venetoclax. Can anyone advise if that treatment is likely to affect my previous

Childrens Vaccination
Has anyone got any information on children above 5 who live with Clinically Extremely Vulnerable getting vaccinated? This is now recommended along with children who have any condition but I’ve not seen or heard any way of booking it. I’ve got two kids, 6 and 10, and, to be honest, the more protection

MY JOURNEY: COVID, EVUSHELD, PAXLOVID and CLL
I am sorry this is so long. I really wanted to document and share my journey and remind everyone to be very careful, thoughtful and educated. COVID is no joke! I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in July, 2015. Started a clinical trial of Acalabrutinib (Calquence) in July, 2016 at

Thiamine B1 and the placebo effect
First of all I do not care if B1 helps or not the mice as long as it is helping me from March 2018. Is that because of the positive placebo effect!? I do not know! I know one time I stopped it for three months and the problems came back. Negative placebo? No idea! Is the B1 stopping or slowing down the

AF episodes after Vaccinations
I have had 2 COVID shots and wanting to have a booster shot. I am a bit worried because about 2 days after each shot I had an episode. I wondered if it was because of the COVID shots or was it because I was a bit nervous about having them because of my AF. Did anyone else have this happen to them

Think I should change my name to "LittleMissGrumpy"....😣🙎🏼♀️
I have been working shifts as a record keeper at our local
vaccination
centre since last April. Catching COVID was inevitable at some point, but I didn't expect Mr D-d to catch it before me.

Immune System..
Sleep has been associated with reduced infection risks, improved infection outcomes and better
vaccination
responses. Getting adequate sleep before receiving a
vaccination
can double the immune response in humans.

Immunocompromised & vaxxed: What Covid precautions to take?
Hi all, I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is immunocompromised from their MBC treatment, AND is vaccinated for Covid, about what precautions & limitations you are taking now. So far I’m staying very conservative, avoiding or minimizing time spent indoors with unmasked people. That means no plane

Lysine Is An Effective Preventative In Medical Professionals Dealing With Covid-19 Patients Everyday For 3 Months
Yesterday I made a reply to one of Marc's recent posts, but there was some very interesting information in that post that I would like to highlight as I feel it is very important for anyone living on this planet in the age of Covid! In my reply to Marc, I linked to a July 2021 study that showed that

Methotrexate and resistance to covid booster
Has anyone had advice about taking methotrexate at the same time as the 4th
vaccination
/booster? I'm due my
vaccination
on the same day as I take my meds and wondering about missing the meds for that week so as to be less immunosuppressed.

Questions after infusion of anticlonal antibodies - can you help?
I'm hoping someone in my situation can give me some information! How safe am I to go out and about (within reason) - I was CEV. I have had 4 jabs, none gave me any antibodies. (Yes, tested.) A few weeks ago I caught Covid despite being super careful. As I was on an NHS priority treatment pathway

Costa Rica Discontinues covid protection
The newly elected president of Costa Rica was inaugurated last Sunday, May 8. One of the first things he did in his new role yesterday is to eliminate the law requiring the wearing of masks and compulsory vaccinations for all government employees. The later is being questioned as it contradicts and

Hi everybody, I am new to this forum
About one month after my 3rd covid
vaccination
in October , my knees started to ache so badly, that I find it very painful to walk or stand. An X-ray to one knee showed osteoarthritis. Four months on, pain is persistent.

Covid, vaccinated and not vaccinated
Hello everyone, and good Saturday to all!! I'm writing hoping to get some information and enlightenment given the confusing world we are living in. I'm not looking to start any arguments about getting vaxxed or not getting vaxxed. I haven't been able to get good "real life" information from my doctor

Working with CLL!
I have my next 3 monthly bloods and Haematology clinic review booked in for June, I'm waiting an appointment for the 4th Covid
vaccination
. Any advice and guidance on work related topics (returning to work etc) would be great, especially from any NHS CLL colleagues out there!

Received My Evusheld Injections This Week
I called The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and asked if they wanted me to donate a blood sample in four or five weeks, like I did after each Covid
vaccination
. I was politely told that they are not interested in Evusheld antibodies.

Fourth vaccination ( booster)
Hello everyone. I can now go for my 4th vaccine. Do most people hold off having their medication if they are about to have a Covid Vaccine. I am due my Biologic Tocilizumab over the weekend and the walk in Clinic is tomorrow morning. Any thoughts welcome, thanks.
