Hi Spanielmadlady,

I'm not sure where you have seen information that household contacts of the immunocompromised will be offered the spring booster in Wales - I've just checked this (gov.wales/covid-19-vaccinat... and it isn't the case.

The spring/second booster is only being offered to:

* adults aged 75 years and over

* residents in a care home for older adults

* individuals aged 12 years and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in in the Green Book)

Who will be offered a COVID-19 booster vaccine?A COVID-19 booster vaccine will be offered to:

all adults over the age of 16 years

pregnant women

those aged 12 years and over who are at risk or who are a household contact of someone who is immunosuppressed.

In spring 2022 an additional booster is being offered to:

people aged 75 years and older

residents in care homes for older people

Covid is spreading very fast so shielding is still highly necessary!
