A Comparison of between Covid-19, a Cold, the Flu, Hay Fever and Asthma plus other Coronavirus updates
Close comparison of the two viruses creates a worrisome picture of what could happen if COVID-19 becomes widespread in the United States, infectious disease experts say. The new coronavirus is more infectious than the flu and appears to strike with much more severity in certain vulnerable groups.

Levo "MUST" be taken in the morning!
I had a sore throat which developed into quite a nasty cough. There's almost no sign of any lingering infection but the cough is driving me nuts and sleeping is difficult. So I went to the chemist for some cough mixture. It seemed a good idea to check how long should be left between cough mixture

Imeraldi
Hey everyone! I have only stated imeraldi within the last 6 weeks, i take it every 2 weeks. Has anyone experience a burning sensation on the tongue and mouth area? I thought it was related to a cold I had but the cold has now gone but the burning has continued!

Hi All I’m very troubled but not quite panicking. I’ve been on steroids for 6 years for PMR. At the end of October I caught a bug from my sister which turned into pneumonia. Following

Cold nose
I'm on T3/T4 combo, happy with dosing and fit. I take meds in the morning. I have had cold fingertips (often wrinkly and blue-ish) in the wintertime since childhood and spectacularly cold feet but over the last few years, since T3 and menopause, this has gone away ... but I now have a very cold nose

Staying warm
How to stay warm when going for a run. I tend to feel the cold and the thought of running in the cold has stopped me going for a run. I graduated from C25k and have done a parkrun and now lost motivation

Brevinor or Norimin?
Ladies has anyone tried Brevinor or Norimin combined pill please? I have been on Loestrin 30 for many years with no issues but it's now been discontinued unfortunately. Looking for similar low estrogen pill as Microgynon made me feel awful when I tried that before so don't want it again. Thanks.

Productive Cough is Back.
CLLr and have been treated w/BR early last year. I had a persistent cough (productive, white/clear) for months and I blamed it on heart meds. (Which were changed) plus Went on a 10 day course of antibiotic that seemed to lessen the cough but it did not elevate it completely. Then about 8-10 days ago

Possibly pregnant or just sick?
I’ve had a cold for the last week or so (mainly coughing). I ovulated between Thursday and Saturday, and since around then my nose has been running like crazy! Yesterday afternoon through today I’ve had body aches (like with the flu) and today I’ve had a headache even with taking meds. What do you all

COPD WHAT FORM OF DISEASE COULD I HAVE?
COPD - IS IT EMPHYSEMA? I’ve had mild COPD for a number of years. When I had my last spirometry I asked the respiratory nurse what form my disease was, ie, was it emphysema or chronic bronchitis? Well, she couldn’t give me a proper answer so I don’t know and I think it’s in my interest to have that

Smokers flu??
Hello! I am on day 10 not smoking (wooo) and I know I will never smoke again. However, over the past week I have had the worst flu of my life and have been in bed most of the weekend. I am starting to feel better today but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this after quitting? I don’t know

Cold weather wear?
Hi all! I'm contemplating my first park run next weekend, but I don't know how to dress to run in cold weather. It's expected to be 3°C / 38°F and mostly sunny. Is that "normal wear but with a sweatshirt, and something warm to put on at the end"? Thanks in advance for your collective wisdom. :)

Colds and AF
Been a bit of a season for it for me this year, back at work for my full hours since September. Little one started nursery over the summer and both me and the OH (who doesn't have AF) seem to be picking up every cold she brings home! The eldest seems to escape and has had maybe two in the same timeframe

Week 4 done & cold showers!
Felt pretty rough out there this morning (late night and wine!!) and came home after the run feeling dreadful, but am definitely tired & dehydrated after last night, so not too worried about that. Anyone else trying cold showers? I’ve been having cold showers (well - warm shower first to actually wash
