Hi ladies... just after some advice really. Baba had a fever in the 8th feb and went on to have his first cold. His cold lasted a few weeks and during that time he developed a cough as well ( bearing in mind he has just started nursery too) he’s has a cough now for over 4 weeks.... it has got better and he doesn’t cough a lot and seems to be over the worse. Is this normal for a cough to last so long? I have also taken him to a&e and they ruled out a chest infection that was in feb... what do you think is this normal? Thank you

My daughter started nursery in September and has had a cough of sorts ever since! It gets worse when she has a cold and when that eases off (never really seems to end 😂) and cycles like that with a verging degree of snotty nose 😬 I took her to the GP a few weeks back, she gave us antibiotics for a crackle and although it helped a little didn’t cure it and then she got another cold! So I’d say normal, never hurts to get these things checked if you are worried 😊 x
