Could this be related to my endo?
I've been battling symptoms of endometriosis for a couple of years now but I don't have an official diagnosis because they won't do a laparoscopy until I lose weight. At first my main symptoms were extreme pain when having a bowel movement (like I was being stabbed repeatedly), near constant pain over

Active Surveillance
New Canadian study below. It's all very well for Dr. Myers - speaking of overtreatment - to say :"Don't call it cancer" when the Gleason score is 3+3, but 25-30% of such men will progress while on Active Surveillance [AS]. In some cases, a delay in treatment might worsen the outcome. It isn't as though

high urine iodine
Hi, I have been wondering why I have high urine iodine 240ug/l I had a chest scan which used radioactive iodine 6 months ago and I assumed it was due to that still coming out of my system, although from what I can see in research materials, it should be excreted much quicker than that. Anyway, read

Thinking of changing from NDT to Levo. and T3
Hi Can anyone please advise me how I would go about changing from NDT to Levo. and T3 combination. I have been taking NDT for six months and have only managed to work up to 1.5 grains. With every increase I have had to reduce again because of side effects. I did manage to get to 2 grains but experience

Bad Ulcerative Colitis flare and bladder irritation/urgency! Someone help!
I am currently going through a BAD UC flare. Taking 40mg of Prednisone and my daily Lialda pills. My bladder feels like it's under tremendous pressure, which makes me take several trips to the bathroom for a disappointing amount of urine to come out. Has anyone ever had this issue with a UC flare? I

Any Doctor Recommendations in the UK
I've had one of those horribly frustrating and upsetting GP appointments today where they tell you the usual thing... drum roll..... 'your thyroid is normal' but today she surpassed herself. I asked if I could be referred to an endocrinologist as I still have hypo symptoms. Her reply was 'you don't need

Urine smell
I have been having symptoms of what I thought was a urine infection, soreness/frequency and smelly urine. [ I am at stage 3 GFR 38 ] the nurse sent my urine off to the lab. which came back clear, apart from a trace of blood which is normal for me. I am still having the symptoms, and the awful

Hey, everyone! Anxiety and dizziness after catching strep throat!
Thanks guys! For me, it all started may long weekend when I caught Strep Throat. While on the antibiotics, I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded, and just not well, but I knew I had to continue taking them until they were gone. Now, 2 months later, I am still dizzy and lightheaded, and not feeling
