Sources for Masks?
I'm not sure this type of post should be made...moderators, feel free to delete, close or let me know if that's the case. I'm wondering if there are 'aftermarket' sources for CPAP masks. I'm guessing not. All sources I am finding online have what appears to be a vendor locked down price (ie. $154.00)

CPAP and Inhalers
I have found that I need to use my Fostair Nexthaler just before I go to bed for the CPAP machine to function properly. I prefer to use the inhaler with my evening meal but this means that the CPAP machine misbehaves at night and tries to float me up to the ceiling. It seems I need to use a inhaler

TBG, Reverse T3 & SHBG Issues - What Does This Mean?
Greetings and happy July all. I have Hashi's confirmed by ultrasound and blood antibodies. I am not being treated as my family doctor and encrinologist say my blood work does not justify it. I have every symptom of hypo, I mean every symptom, and I also believe I have fatigued adrenals big time. But,

Pacemaker Update
It’s 6 weeks since the LV lead review/revision and it took a lot more out of me than I had anticipated or planned for. I had the pacemaker check yesterday and YEAH! everything is working and no twitches. Everything feels so much comfortable in my arm and shoulder and I haven’t experienced the tightness

Docetaxel and breathing problems?
After first Docetaxel/Cabazitaxel infusion - 10 days later, I couldn't breath and was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. Was there for 4 days .... I had my second infusion 14 days ago and am still having a hard time catching my breath. I can't walk to far without stopping and straining to breath

Sleep apnoea and RLS
My hematologist has recommended I go back to the respiratory and sleep physician for a review of my sleep apnoea. About 5 years ago he dismissed me after losing 30 kilos and didn't need the CPAP machine any longer as it had improved so much. He wonders if Sleep apnoea has a bearing on my RL. Any comments

Post Ablation and Change of Medication
I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar position to myself and could offer some advice. I was disappointment after an episode clear 11 months using my CPAP ( sleep machine ) to have an AF episode which went into Atrial Flutter and had to have a DC Cardiversion ( my PIP Flecainide didn't work

3 specialists! Should I be worried?
Hi guys, haven't blogged for a while, I have finally got an appointment with respiratory on June 14, Friday, probably so they can recover over the weekend! Lol. But, seriously, should I be worried? I am usually seen by 1 NOT 3,no mention was made about bringing anything, like my CPAP to adjust or anything

Cpap for sleep apnea
My mum has rls and has been on lots of medicine to control it. It work until augmentation but this time gabapentin was not working. However at the same time she had her results from her sleep test and was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea and the hospital gave her a cpap machine. The doctor said it

Sleeping like a baby...
Hi, my husband is 56 years old, PD for approx. 9 years. Sometimes he wakes up in the morning and then has to go back to bed an hour later. He sleeps most of the afternoon away. His quality of life is really bad. He has gained so much weight because of his inactivity. I read all these posts about people

CBD for anxiety and insomnia
Has anyone had experience with CBD for relieving anxiety and insomnia? I’m on Pradaxa, metoprolol and had ablation for AFib and SVT 2 yrs ago. Doing ok mostly but extremely lethargic because I don’t get enough sleep even with my CPAP. I’m 74 and was otherwise pretty healthy. I appreciate any insight

Crippling fatigue and brain fog ruining my life
Male, 23, 5’10, 165 lbs, White Hello, My health has felt like it’s been in the crapper for way too long. When I was 12-13 I was diagnosed with mild GERD (acid reflux). Right around this time I also started developing a bit of general anxiety, but again wasn't debilitating. And then, starting around
