Sources for Masks?

I'm not sure this type of post should be made...moderators, feel free to delete, close or let me know if that's the case.

I'm wondering if there are 'aftermarket' sources for CPAP masks. I'm guessing not. All sources I am finding online have what appears to be a vendor locked down price (ie. $154.00). All the same.

I can't get another from my initial source, unless I purchase...insurance only pays for 1. It's not working for me. Can't sleep with it. Want to try another type. But at 150 per, trying different ones in order to try to sleep can get expensive.

What type of mask are you looking for?

ResMed Airtouch F20.

Since initial post I have scheduled with a mask fit clinic. That could change what I want/need.

I currently have a Phillips Dreamwear full face mask, although it fits under the nose and over the mouth.

I need full face due to mouth breathing.

The Phillips I'm having problems with. Have to fit fairly tight to nose to seal, itches, and after an hour struggling to go to sleep it gets very annoying.

Of course I'm still in the 'get used to it' stage.

I appreciate that information.

Couple questions fire you, coming from some reviews I've read:

Do you find you have to replace the face cushion often? Maybe due to the phone tearing easily...

Is there a clicking noise when you exhale?

Is the are particularly loud? (I call it the Darth Vader effect)?

I gather the memory foam does not make your face hot, no?

Thanks for your input.
